The long-awaited full sequel to TrackMania is here! Drive fast and drift long in this crazy, physics-based fun racing game. Features gameplay similar to that of previous games in the series. The player can race on various tracks, with the ability to do stunts in various modes.
So I'm seeing that my latest map "Do It Again" was played on the server Wednesday, but I don't see it in the list. Is that a rejection record, or was there a server reset? I'd be interested to know what was wrong with it.
Is it me or has the number of players on the Giant Bomb server dropped by a large margin recently? There used to always be around 45 players and sometimes it was hard to even get on the server. Now it seems like I'm lucky if there are 15 people racing. Is it the times I'm playing?

Maps are taking a long time to start for some reason. It feels like a minute between loading the map and "Go". It is annoying enough that people are going elsewhere to race.
5-6 maps in a row so far all with the same song. Someone need to kick the jukebox? There's just not enough wubwubwubwubwub in that Lights song :)
Got on just now and it appears to be fine. Remember that you should be able to use /music to request a song if it ever gets stuck like that again.
Music is stuck for me currently. None of the UI mods are showing either so I can't request another song. I think it has to do with today's client update.
@Jeff: Thanks Jeff, popped on again a bit later and saw it was good too. I think the mania might have finally gotten me.
@wukong Just went on again and you're right, maybe whatever site does those stats and stuff is down or something. The records and stuff UI boxes didn't load up.
@DjCmeP: There are still people here and there. Its a timing thing really. I was just on and there are a ton of people on servers that were completely empty three hours ago. The GB server had around 25 people on last night around 11 pm EST so I guess its just a crap shoot.
After hearing Jeff talk about this for many, many podcasts, I just bought it and am installing currently! Looking forward to jumping on the Giant Bomb server and hopefully see some duders on there.
Mate of mine is currently producing would be awesome if you could take a listen for him, let him know what you think and maybe use some on the server!?
I was on over the weekend and there were about 20ish random people on. Mostly Europeans, natch. So there are times when people are there, just not all the time.
Basically if you play when Europe is likely to be playing games there is a larger chance of people being online.

Giantbomb Official Classic is pretty much the most popular Trackmania 2 server in the world.
The great thing is, you get all these pro German Trackmania players coming on the server and getting really angry (or excited) with all the Cher and dubstep remixes. Just yesterday I spent 4 hours getting a stupid Giantbomb logo onto my truck. Before I could do that, I had to import a fucking Lada 2105 model into TM2 and work out how to host it. Fucking pain in the ass.
My next time consuming task is to get a custom horn going and hosted, i'm leaning towards a clip of Brad saying "emails".
So yeah, if you see a sick black truck with a Giantbomb logo on it spamming Brad sound clips, honk back and don't be a stranger.
Alright, not sure where to post track requests or if you're even taking them, but I'll give this a shot. It's a pretty simple track, not very challenging.
There seems to be a fair bit of hate from players for the awesome DOLEMITE loading screen, I can understand not wanting to have anything to do with these kinds of people though.
I'm having a heap of trouble both getting on the server and having my times recorded on the server. I made my address the DMZ, so ports shouldn't be an issue. I can't chat on the server either.
@Jeff: Hey can you add my Dubstep track I made using your very own wobbles? I may make a faster and heavier song that is intended to actually sound good, rather than something like this where I wanted it to be shitty. Download is in the description if needed.
