Oh, well Jeff has only spent the majority of his life talking and thinking about video games, so he's probably never thought of it that way before.

That gamestop dude might have lost his job. Seen plenty of people who get fired because they mention they are representing gamestop and that they have negative opinions about there business partners.

I can totally understand why some questions are how they are though. It's extremely nerve racking getting up on the mic in front of all those people. I've never had an issue speaking in front of crowds before the moment I stood behind that mic. Whats worse is while you wait in line you rehearse over and over again in your head, but once you get up there all the adrenaline wipes your mind clean... PAX isn't known for bringing in the most socially skilled individuals... (e.g. "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS JACKET I'M WEARING") so many of them end up fumbling on the question they had probably thought of ahead of time.

Also note, while I was the last question, there were only 2 people behind me who got left out. They really can't pre-screen questions that much unless they cut down the time they spend answering questions.

I don't remember many trying to be a comedian... I honestly only think my bat tech was the only blatant attempt to be funny (my apologies.. I'll keep my whip home next time)

This is such a great panel. One of their best. Jeff Green wins the internet.

Man, Brad had some zingers this year. Glad to see him getting more comfortable with the panel format. And of course the Boston show itself remains a glorious shitshow.

Great panel this year, everyone was really engaged. Question time made me sweat and blush in the privacy of my own home, pretty much everything I could have hoped for!

I want to go to PAX simply for this panel, no other reason is needed for me. I AM SOLD.

The questions would be fine if a) people would ask short, simple questions, instead of long rambling ones that require two minutes of pointless context first, and b) if people would stop trying to be funny.

Like, that guy who worked at a Best Buy - hooooooly fuck man. Just kept talking and talking and talking.

It's enough that I almost wish they'd pre-screen the questions to gather some good ones, because the Q&A is always where the momentum of the GB panel grinds to a halt. This year actually wasn't as bad as years past (far fewer people trying to be comedians), but there were still a couple of stink bombs in there.

I approve this message.

At least the questions, barring a few in particular, weren't as awkward this time. Props to the San Antonio dude though for making that drive.

I was one of the last to go and had my question all planned out in my head, but when I got to the front of the line I was suddenly in front of a ton people and cameras and I stumbled and lost my words. Holy shit, Patrick is really good at giving great answers to shitty questions.

the theater is fucking huge and no one was looking that far back. That and everyone was too busy watching Drake bottle Lang to be staring at the back of the theater. My guess is he only came in right at the end, I was there and didn't see him among the reserved seating for the GB friends/devs or whatnot.

Great panel, the cursed Crash Bandicoot jacket was so good but even better was Brad completely losing it.

Tell the dude that asked about the booing that, I was just answering his question if Patrick booing was a joke.

Seeing some of the other panels, Giant Bomb is pretty much the only group that "brings it". Everything else is just boring ass conversations.

FUCK MAN, I thought listening to the latest podcast and Bombin in the AM would spoil me of the Royal Rumble preshow, but damn fail bat-tech chain right into Jeff...ahem Dr. Tracksuit's manager shit talking then god damn shirtless Jeff Green storm the stage, and the classic Giantbomb copyright logo in the on the bottom left screen. Fucking amazing

I watched wrestling many many years ago, that's exactly how I remember, except totally Giantbomb style.

Amen. I live in rural North Dakota and couldn't relate in the slightest to that guy.

Even knowing that end was coming, it was still fantastic. Especially Jeff Green.

Also, I'm really glad Jeff shot down the concept that the Midwest or anything but the coasts are some backwards, internet-less plains that have never heard of digital downloads. The guy who asked that question was stuck in a really unfortunate bubble at Gamestop, but it's completely unrepresentative.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Drew is a handsome man.

Also: Brad is killing it.

The only downside of this version is that you can't see Brad turn into a tomato at 2:15:05. Other than that, great work as always guys.

that was a great end to my first PAX. my only complaint is that the damn PAX enforcers pushed so many of the people who were first in line furthest from the panel. that was really fucked up. some of us had been waiting hours ahead and we were all cast aside...

I must know more about "Fire Fighter Fighters".

I have one question: How did no one notice a masked Dad standing around shirtless till he ran up to the stage.

As great as this whole thing was, 2:15:00 is the best damn thing.
