Acclaim Studios Salt Lake City was known as Sculptured Software prior to Acclaim purchasing them. They developed several of Acclaim's WWF-licensed wrestling games.
Acclaim Studios Salt Lake City was originally founded in 1984 by Bryan Brandenburg, George Metos and Peter Adams. In their early days they developed games for home computers such as the Apple II. They were bought out by Acclaim Entertainment on October 9, 1995 and renamed to Acclaim Studios Salt Lake City. They were closed down in 2004 when Acclaim went out of business.
