Hey, Here's Rock Band 3!

That keyboard looks so overwhelming. How many buttons is that? Geez.

The keyboard looks fantastic. Trust Harmonix to figure out how to do it right, and I'm glad they got there first so when Guitar Hero take that next year it will be exactly the same and work well...

Also, Bohemian Rhapsody in Guitar Hero? No thanks. Bohemian Rhapsody in Rock Band with Keyboard and Vocal Harmonies? HELL YES! That's a million times better.

A single song interests me, and that's Bohemian Rhapsody. Other than that, it's just Rock Band with a keyboard.

I'm going to need a way bigger TV for this.

I love RB, but I think I'm done with it. I played RB 1 and 2 every week for 2 straight years, and I think I'm tired of it. Plus, most of my friends that I played with have moved.

I find myself wishing the piano part could just be rendered on an actual music clef, but in any case I'm hungry to get my hands on that.

I have NEVER been excited about a Rock Band or Guitar Hero game before. Guitar Hero can SUCK IT. Rock Band 3 is where it's at. When I heard that the game will teach you to play the instruments I was getting excited about, Then when I read that Metric is in it then I was sold. Queen, White Strips, Stone Temple Pilots, and pretty much the entire list so far is excellent. I do demand that we get a GOB avatar with The Final Countdown in the game.

Alright.

Depending on  the price, this may be a good time to upgrade all of my Rock Band 1 equipment.

That 2000s list has so much awesome in it. Metric? Phoenix? Rilo Kiley? Sold.
 
Them Crooked Vultures and The White Stripes are great, too. Can't wait for the full setlist to be revealed!

Lil disappointed with the STP song choice, would have loved a heavier song from them, but I guess this is always the problem with playlists.
 
Bohemian Rhapsody is a strange one. I understand there's a keyboard to consider now, but what are the drummer, bassist and guitarist gonna do for those beginning 2 minutes? Oh, and for most of the song :/. Sigh.

This does absolutely nothing for me.

Oh god dammit, Rilo Kiley is in here. Well, there goes another band that I can't openly listen to without having everyone fag out on me because "LOL I CAN FIVE STAR THAT ON DRUMS ON EXPERT I'M SO GOOD AT ROCK BAND LOLOLOLOL"

I was done with Rock Band. Then I read "Bohemian Rhapsody" and I'm sold.

Love how all the people are "tired" of music games, only to be coming to them this fall. Everyone wants to play Bohemian Rhapsody.
 
I haven't bought a music game since RB2 and its because I didn't need to. Buying some new tracks every couple of months has kept me hook for the past 2 years. 
 
Some their innovations are cool and hopefully come fruition. 
 
Plus, by the time the game's ready for release, MadCatz will have a 3rd Party Ke tar instrument.

To paraphrase and butcher a quote from that Albert Einstein fellow, "I don't know what kind of songs will be used for Rock Band 3 but in Rock Band 4 they will be using Styx and 'Stones."
Obviously we know what songs they are using but this will probably be the last sequel to Rock Band as the casual players seem to be tiring of the plastic instrument genre.

I Love Rock And Roll is such a boring song to play in music games

Abit of Them Crooked vultures works for me.

I'm really sold on this tracklist. The mainstream songs are of the variety that anyone can enjoy, and the indie songs sound fun to play as well as pleasant to listen to. Guitar who?

Kind of funny how he talk about their  innovationsin the genre, but never actually mentions any...
I so hope this game will let you download 20 songs (you actually like) in stead of just comming pre-packed with 20 crappy songs!

The keyboard has me more interested than I thought I'd be. Almost enough to probably pick it up.

That track list is insane.  I love every song except for a couple in the 2000 category.  I'm officially pumped for this game!

For me to buy my first of these games they need atleast 2 of 3 things: they need to have an actual musical score option for the keyboard, a feeplay option for the keyboard, and the option to use 3rd party usb keyboards. Otherwise I don't feel like being patronised by a video game, I'd rather just play my actual piano.

Can't wait, having put in a 100+ hours into Rock Band 2 I'm super excited by what Harmonix are doing.
