That said, I think my favorite from a dungeon-design perspective is probably Twilight Princess (my brother soldiered forward, and there was some cool stuff!) and my favorite overall is definitely still Majora's Mask. I think Wind Waker is a really cool game that is marred by how little there really is to see/do while out in the ocean, and Ocarina of Time..

I strongly disagree. I am not a very nostalgic type of guy(I consider the PS2/XBOX/GC generation be leagues ahead of anything before it) and I don't even have that large a history with the franchise, but I consider the 3D Zelda games to be some of the most well designed and paced games in the history of this medium......well..... aside from Twilight Princess, of course. I'm a bit split on whether or not to play this game in Master Quest mode. On the one hand it'd make the game feel more like something new, on the other knowing all the solutions to the puzzles helps the feeling of familiarity and nostalgia which might lead to me enjoying it more.

Oh man can't wait for this game.

Master quest is pretty nice when you've completed the game to many times :) 3D though, I don't know if it's worth it.. Boss mode might be nice.. once =/

I don't know, It's a toughie for me between Majora's Mask and Wind Waker.

Considering bosses are probably my least favorite part of Zelda games, I can't say I'm to excited about this.

Boss challenge mode sounds like a welcome addition to an already stellar game. I wonder if there's a special reward for beating all bosses back-to-back. They seem to have tweaked Master Quest as well, since the press release mentions that Hyrule is mirrored in that mode.

this is perfect, even more reason to replay this already replayable game

Maybe if I buy 5 copies of Ocarina, they'll re-release Majora's Mask... heh, yeah right.

I love Boss Rush modes. The first time I really enjoyed one was in Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance on the GBA. Since then I've been wanting the concept for other games like Batman AA, but the feature always seems to get ignored.

edit: And I wouldn't call a Master Quest mode anything like New Game+  since you have your items and health reset. But I guess my issues is more with the mis-described concept page.

 Aw man Patrick. I was all open minded that you were going to be a cool news guy, but then you had to drop this bomb. OOT and MM were just really different. Each good in their own way.
