On Steam: A Painful Amount Of Cheap Elder Scrolls Content

oblivion pissed me off, because i wasn't that much into RPG at the time so i sold it
... now it's so cheap ... hard to resist lol, i just bought guild wars, i think i have enough games to play until i buy a new laptop and play far cry 2 that i bought and never played ... crysis as well, starting fallout 3 all over, and finally playing the witcher which i bought after removing the pirated version and never fully played ... yeah i got enough games, i just need my laptop, so let's go asus or gateway, bring out the goods

I already own Oblivion and Morrowind for the PC, but I don't have any of the expansion or DLC content. I'd buy them again for that price (okay, so I already did).

Wow that is a killer deal. I already own all of that but I am so Elder Scroll crazy that I may just buy it again for the convenience of having it all on Steam. Oh, and Brad you are totally right about the number of Mods out there for these games. With Morrowind alone you will never need to buy another game again. :)

I especially like the use of the Arena fan as a domino. That guy was so fucking annoying. I just told him to stay in the haunted mansion in some closet when i played through oblivion

Grabbed it. Made sure it was the Deluxe pack (not shown on my front page of steam.... though all the crappier ones were). Cheers for the heads up mate! Left my 360 oblivion back in another country that doesn't work on my current region xbox :O. This plus the expansions + morrowind + expansions. Downloadable anywhere anytime. Totally worth 28 bucks.

And Steam screws over the European costumers again. The price for me in Norway with current interest rates is almost twice what it is in the US. It's still a cheap-ish deal, but they still charge us way too much.
Not that I would buy this particular pack anyway though, got the games already.

Niiiiiice.  I already have Oblivion and all its plugins/expansions, but I've yet to play Morrowind yet.  Only thing is, I wonder if the Morrowind construction set and mods will work with the steam version.  Hopefully so.

No need for them to put Arena on there since it's already freeware on the Elder Scrolls website.  But it's too bad Bethesda lost the source code for Daggerfall way back, so we'll never be able to have a Steam version or any other version of that game released again.  Only way to get it is to buy an overpriced used copy on Amazon or Ebay somewhere, or to track it down on one of the few abandonware sites that has it.

I've seen that video a long time ago.  Not bad, though I've seen way more complex and impressive domino effect videos from Garry's Mod, BF2 Sandbox mod, and Crysis's Sandbox Editor.

That's awesome. I went and hopped right on it. I've kept pushing off buying these games, so there should be a lot of content here to keep me entertained.

lol i just bought oblivion again even though i already have it for my pc... my 2000+ hours in that game are not enough! I must hit 3000 by the end of the summer!!!!!

I have oblivion for 360 but I only played a few hours of it. Damn steam making me want to pay for things I already own. It's a ridiculous deal for the play time you can sink into those games. 

I should really get this on PC.  I have the Collector's Edition boxed copy, but it'd be nice to have it on steam.  Not to mention all of those expansions.  It'd be nice to have all of that on steam in one location rather than having to install everything off of 3-4 DVDs.

Finally. I was bummed out the game of the year edition didn't come with the DLC. $28.19 for all this stuff? That's crazy. 'S a shame though, that morrowind crashes every five minutes, otherwise I'd be all over this pack. 

Even though I have all of this, it's making me want to buy it again. Which is horrible for me.

Someone should recreate that crazy Honda advert in Oblivion.

I really don't understand what the continent specific copyright has to do with anything in this case....

Anyone know any good Morrowind mods?  Preferably some texture and model mods.

Makes me wonder what the book is. Unabridged Brief History of the Empire, maybe?

Hmm. So, every comments section corresponds to a forum thread? Does that mean that if someone was (say) watching old Endurance Run videos, or Quick Looks, and decided to comment, that would result in a necrobump in the corresponding forum? If so, perhaps comments sections could be exempt from community disapproval. The alternative seems to be saying that people are not supposed to comment on old videos/etc... that seems like it would be very difficult to tell people about, and a weird restriction that isn't present on other websites.
