Ubisoft's Your Shape To Feature Classes, Cardio Workouts

I don't need a silly game to be motivated to train. I play games to chill out, after a long day of work, or a good workout session. 

Ubisoft should spend more time making games, not promoting fake fitness.

Do I get to determine my own target shape?

With my luck and coordination I'd end up kicking the cat across the room. No thanks.

"Fitness Evolved" just put an image of Master Chief in aerobics leg warmers into my head.

Could be good? EA Sports Active was a step in the right direction. Would be nice if these latest versions made the same jumps in progression that EA made over Wii Fit.

This and the Dance thing actually looked pretty good.  I still don't see how Kinect can be used for actual games - the sports games looked worse than Wii Sports, the driving game looked bad, and the Star Wars game looked beyond terrible. 
 
I mean, it's amazing they've gotten as far as they can with the "no controller" concept - but for the most part the lack of a controller or any type of physical object seems to make a simplistic or downright unplayable.

Indeed. That was the only thing in the entire MS press conference that looked even remotely interesting. I would be willing to pay $20-$30 for it, but unless they show other things that look as interesting I could not justify buying a Natal to use it with. Unless the Natal device itself is around $15-$20. 
 
Also, I will laugh if they expect people to pay a full $80-$90 each for one of these Natal games like a regular 360 game costs.That animal game looked like it could be cute to play with for a few hours. Personally I would love to see them remake Black and White with this thing. "

Your Shape was pretty terrible on the Wii, so I don't expect much from this iteration.

I think it will have a lot of appeal, just not for gamers....

Seems like something my girlfriend would love to use while I'm waiting to play something like Halo Reach.  Pretty neat, though.

This was the one thing that actually looked interesting to me for Kinect. Too bad I have this thing called a gym membership already. Why would I pay $150 for a Kinect + the $60 that I know this game will cost when I can do SO much more at the gym? I will tell you. I won't.

Both Abraham Lincoln and John Wilkes Boothe wouldn't need weights to add to their Force.

The technology here was actually very impressive, and it seems like a feasible way to train yourself real techniques (and martial arts!) without going to actual classes.

Nintendo might be prepping some lawyers to see if they can stop this.

Dance Central looks like a better workout.

Hey! A thing I don't care about.

It looks pretty good. It has a very smart system that really helps you improve on a person's exercise. Also it wasn't super lame as all of the other Kinect games.

Your Shape looked pretty good. Hate the name though.

Ubisoft also has two other games for launch:  The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout and Motion Sports.

I do not like doing cardio.  If this game can make doing that interesting and fun I'm all in.  Yoga looks pretty relaxing too.  

This is one of the better games shown for Kinect. It seemed to lag, which hopefully they can fix, but I will probably get it! I hate working out, so turning it into a game will help.

It looks interesting, but it's definitely not for me.

Eat less,  exercise more.  It's not rocket science people.  And you don't need some 150+ add-on and 50+ dollar game to tell you that.

The DRM is really intense. You have to stay on a treadmill for the entire time you're playing.

I don't know, looked cool there but those exercises looked really weak. Didn't look all that promising...
