The beta will be limited to the Xbox 360 and PC versions (sorry PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, Intellivision, etc.) and promises action in both the Pacific and European theaters in which the final game will take place. You can register for a token by signing up at the official Call of Duty website, or by preordering the game through GameStop.

If the response from the press is any sort of barometer, this will probably help the game.  It seems like most people were initially bummed that it's a WWII game from Treyarch, but have since come around after playing it.
