Xbox Live Summer of Arcade Titles Have Prices, Dates

Am I the only one who feels like the summer of arcade release dates are always way late? Like, not only do you have to wait through a good portion of the actual summer before you can play them, there is also barely any July retail releases of note at all. I think its because they already have pretty good arcade games recently and in the coming weeks, we got Trenched last week, half min hero this week, Ms. Splosion man on July 13th

Bastion and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet are must buys for me. I'm interested in From Dust, but not 100% sold on it. The other two? Meh.

Bastion, From Dust and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet look good. Toy Soldiers 2 will probably be alright, but I got my fill with the first one. Fruit Ninja could stand to lose a decimal.

The "Get X if you buy them all" deal was more appealing back when you paid for 4 games and got 5. Now it's 5 and 6.

Will at minimum be getting From Dust. Unless it's secretly terrible somehow.

I'm definitely getting Bastion for sure. It was a blast to play at PAX.

Bastion will be a day one buy for me. Haven't spent 1200 space bucks on a game in a long time but I know it'll be totally worth it with Greg Kasavin as the creative director. That and I've been itching for a good dungeon crawl and this looks like a breath of fresh air in that genre. I'll trial the others. If there's anything I like I'll wait till it's on sale.

Damnit! I was hoping 3rd Strike would be among these. I just want to know when it comes out.

Bastion and From Dust are the only titles I'm interested in. Bastion is the only game I'll probably buy. Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet also looks like it could be cool but we'll see.

Im pretty much sold on Bastion, I like what Greg Kasavin said hes trying to do with it replicating the feel of classic SNES games and such

Thanks Microsoft, for making us have to own a Kinect to take advantage of the promotion.  For the last two years I have bought all the summer of arcade titles and gotten introduced to some great games I would have never played due to this incentive, but this year I guess all I'm getting is Bastion.

Definitely buying Bastion. Might eventually get Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet.

Some of these titles are interesting, like Bastion and Pixelpon Patajunk, and I'll consider giving them a spin if they're released in an online store that doesn't charge money for me browsing their catalogue.

From Dust looks amazing. But charging $10 for Fruit Ninja? Seriously? O_o That game better had a lot more content than its iPhone/Android counterpart.

I will be buying bastion and from dust, I have heard little about the others but if the demo is fun and reviews on gb say its worth it I will probably buy them all, I am looking forward to bastion the most, pleased its coming first.
 
I have had some great expierences on xbla and the prices are great, 800-1200 points for games like limbo,braid,shadow complex, trials hd, geo wars, alien hominid,castle crashers plus many more have been well worth it, XBLA & PSN titles have been one of my fav things about this generation.

Man, that's a pretty crappy summer of arcade deal. I wouldn't buy an overpriced Kinect game, even if I owned a Kinect, just to get the deal. Whatever happened to this being a promotion?

Wow that's a pretty lame bonus, sure I wont complain about a free game but no way I was going to buy all of these, the obvious odd one out is fruit ninja kinect, have no interest in that. In the past they have done points for buying three or all of the games I think that would have been a better route.

Hope Retro City Rampage comes out soon.

Reminder: the best game of the summer, (Ms. Splosion Man) will release a week before these other less-wonderful projects.

Yeah, I've seen that game played. You slice fruit. With your finger. I guess it's for toddlers or something. Anyway, it's 99 cents on Apple's App Store. Fuck Microsoft at $10. Fucking bullshit.

As much as I like Greg I still fail to muster up any interest in Bastion :(

Buying Bastion, unsure of the others.

So three of those games are must buys. But 2 of them are definite not buys. Its been at least a couple of summers since there was such polarization in the Summer of Arcade. But there is all most all ways a bad game in there. I all ways wonder why they do that.

These games looks great. I can't wait until that Trenched game comes out. I hear it's pretty good.

I am exited for these releases. They all look pretty interesting, especially insanely twisted shadow planet!

I'm super excited for a new Toy Soldiers game.

Anyone else think having a Kinect title in here is a bad idea? For a lot of people it completely cancels out the usefulness of the buy-all-games get one free deal. Suddenly, whatever part of the 360 owners population isn't even eligible. 
 
Not to mention that it is fruit ninja, which I felt ripped off after paying $1 for.

Definitely getting Bastion & will demo Shadow Planet as on the fence with it (love the look but not sure on the actual playing the game part), others seem interesting but will wait on those. Glad to have these details beforehand to make sure I have enough points to grab Bastion & maybe one more.

Bastion I can tell is a labor of love, and I can't wait to play it.

Bastion and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet both look interesting. I didn't play the original Toy Soldiers, so ... well, maybe I should check it out. It looked interesting enough. I'm amazed at the quality jump in XBLA games over the life of this console. I'm digging some of these Live Arcade titles as much as some full-price games.

Bastion and Dust, other than that meh.
