I've been waiting patiently for a long time for DICE to repair the problems with the mics in BF 1943, but they don't seem to care. This happened to me with BF Bad Company, but I didn't get too upset because it was the first time they made a console game, but now I'm tired of it. The mic support only stands for a minute and then I either don't understand my friend or I simply don't hear him. They've had a lot of time to repair this shit, fuck them. (The game is great and this happened to me on PSN, but anyways, the mic support is shit.)

Don't cry so much. DICE is an awesome studio, they work hard and I'm sure your concerns are on their list.

yeah, really, that's the whole point of my post, they suck. mic support is a very important thing to have these days within videogames to enjoy the game, have some strategy going etc... and anyways, they suck because they've had a load of time to fix it and today I just got sick of it. and call me when there is a voice chat for the PS3. "

Bad Company actually wasn't their first console game. It was BFMC I think.

That sucks. Haven't heard of this problem until now. Maybe it's a relatively isolated incident?

The chat works fine... if I am in a squad, I can hear my squad members but I cannot hear the rest of the team.  If I am unsquadded (?) I can hear everyone else who is also unsquadded.  I've never had to rely on party chat to communicate with my squad.   To quote Blizzard... "It's Working as intended."
 
My only gripe is trying to be on the same team as my friends.  There have been a lot of times where 2-3 of us get split up and put on opposing teams.  I'm assuming its balancing issues but I never had this prob in COD4 or Halo3.  All in all a small gripe for a great game.

I have these really nice headphones but I haven't bought an amp for them so I can't here voice chat over the giant explosions. I don't even care.

mic support is an importaint aspect of a game, they should fix it

I joined a party and played with friends.  The mic chat worked fine.  Suck on that.

DICE is really slipping. If Bad Company 2 doesent let you go prone Im going to be majorly pissed off.
The mic problems in BF1943 don't bother me since I don't like listening to 8 year olds singing anyway
