So yeah, afraid im gonna buy that shitty game just to get a Beta key >_> not now though.Beta :
The beta is available through all versions of Medal of Honor. The stipulation, however, is that the invite is only valid if the beta is opened within 12 months of MOH's release.
Already have MOH and I still play it occasionally when I want some quick matches.
Guess I'm the only one who don't find it shitty.
Ugh... do I really have to?...
Any info on when the beta starts?
I had MOH and didn't even bother to take the Battlefield 3 beta card out of the box. Mainly because I was in such a rush to return the piece of shit.
Thought about it, but NO. You'll have to be crazy or just desperate to buy yourself into beta.
I bought Borderlands GOTY when it was on a Steam sale, because it was a good deal, totally not because I want to fondle balls of steel.
Now, MoH.. us BF3 hungry types need confirmation ASAP about this. If I can buy a console version for cheaps, I'll do it. If I can buy a PC regular edition, for less, I'll do that. Anything that gets me out of the dull experience that is Black Ops PC.
There should be some other way to get beta access. Probably by preordering the game (PC)
Or maybe I will get access to beta through PSN Plus.
I will wait until then.
Yes - and I bought it twice. Once for PS3 at release and once tomorrow (that's when it arrives in the mail at least) for PC - dirt cheap I might add. Don't worry - it's a brandnew shrinkwrapped Limited Edition including BF3 access - there's nothing but LEs on the market.
Why? Because the beta entry is platform exclusive. PS3 version for PS3 beta (beta access is an on disc feature) and PC version for PC beta. Yes - I'm a BF nut and no, I don't regret the purchase. I was well entertained by the MoH campaign and did enjoy about 30-40 hours of online multiplayer, which enjoyed for the most parts quite a lot. Looking forward to replaying the MoH campaign on PC and especially getting the full beta range on BF3.
About MoH being bad... it isn't. Who says otherwise wants it to be bad - badly.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
No. "
Already got it, so this is kinda like bandaging the wound.
"i live in israel and the cheapest i could find is 45 bucks... but fuck it, im going for it.Come to think of it, if you can find MoH for $20 or less, I think that would be worth buying reardless of the beta. The campaign did some interesting things with tone and storytelling that are worth seeing, if not paying the full $70.
"
Nope, BF: Bad Company 2 is enough for me and Halo: Reach is my primary multiplayer FPS game.

" I was kind of interested in the game either way and it's only $16. Still kind of uncertain though, because I'd rather play the finished product. "BF Betas and Demos are usually quite legendary. Most beta/demo maps have become fan favorites. I put 200+ hours into the PS3 Beta of BF:BC 2. Really getting the most out of one map. It was superawesome. Then again... I was in the top10 crazy people playing the Beta waaay too much, at least in terms of kills.
" @Jack268 said:Aaah yes! The BF2 demo sure bring back memories! Gulf of Oman was such a fun map. Must have put 40 or 50 hours into that bugger before the game shipped." I was kind of interested in the game either way and it's only $16. Still kind of uncertain though, because I'd rather play the finished product. "BF Betas and Demos are usually quite legendary. If I see a limited edition copy for like $20 somewhere I'll get it.
Have you played Medal of Honor? It's not shitty.
I actually preordered MoH based on the belief that it would actually be a good game. God was I wrong. But if I get access to the BF3 beta, I'm okay with having wasted the money. And I think it's fair to give BF3 beta keys to MoH owners, since the people who preordered MoH were primarily big DICE fans.
No why would i do that. I can live without being in a beta program.
" Have you played Medal of Honor? It's not shitty. "i played the single player at a friend's, and the multiplayer beta
They usually give beta keys away on steam when you preorder the game.
Can't, i dont have MOH and never will.
Nooo no. No no no no no. As much as I would like to be in a BF3 beta, I have no interest in MoH at all.
I only ever play beta's for like 10-20 minutes max and delete it, just for a taste of what is to come.
So no I will not be buying MOH just for the beta.
Nice! Just got my PC copy from my retailer and it was totally gratis. It's always nice to be rewarded for being a regular customer.
For you GBers out of Switzerland, Germany and Austria - check out World of Games! Great e-shop.
" I already have MOH, but I thought that you need some kind of Limited edition to get beta key. "wait, are you saying your non-limited version of MOH doesnt have a beta key ?
Battlefield beta, no......
Gears of War 3 beta........ HELL YEAH.
