Return to Pandora as part of a new group of ragtag Vault Hunters in this sequel to the 2009 first-person "role-playing shooter" Borderlands, now with new crazy enemies, new crazy character classes, and even crazier weapons.
How long have games cost more than $60? We might as well start paying $90 bucks for new releases with unlimited support since I'm gonna get the DLC later like a sucker anyway. We'll probably be paying $90 a game when the next generation hits.
Dude games are cheaper now then ever. I remember buying games for the genesis and snes for over $100 and some of them were dog shit.
I really enjoyed the first game, even on the PC, even though I'm very sensitive to low FOV. I could only play it in short hour long chunks, but the game was one of the rare ones that ended up on my "finished" list.
Now the sequel has no wonky Gamespy multiplayer? Adjustable FOV? Swappable body parts for the characters? Oh man, oh man.
I'm not kidding, the idea of having a giant robot pal just sold me on Borderlands 2. I mean I'll play it a few months after it comes out so this dlc arrives but they sold a copy nonetheless.

You kinda crippled yourself there mate :P FoV in Borderlands was a simple .ini file fix on day one. Later on someone even made a great launcher where you could set any custom FoV you wanted, and many other features.

I remembering binding the FOV key to forward, but a bunch of actions always ended up breaking it.
I didn't know about the launcher, though. My friends were done with Borderlands once we beat it and without friends, it's not so fun anymore.
I wondered if they were holding back a character where I snarked that it was going to be a Super Claptrap....but the Mechromancer works just as well. :)
