Maybe I'm just being pessimistic and impatient, but I scanned some forums about the patch not being out yet and there are some rumors going around that the patch has been delayed till the nineteenth.  I'm not sure where they got this information but does anyone know if this is true?

Yeah it's true. I think I saw it on Shacknews last week. I can't remember what the reason was though.

You would think that this is something they would want out for the GOTY edition.  I wonder if its actually already on the disc just not available for people to DL yet.  Either way this kinda sucks.  Really been holding off playing till the patch came out and I really want to play.

The reason it got delayed was because they needed to include some fixes to the new DLC. 

Got no spare cash to even download the actual DLC so I'm in no rush.

I already bought the DLC but am waiting to play it until the patch comes out.  I'm part of the problem.  (  ._.)

First off, they said they were hoping to get this released before GOTY or at the same time.  
Second, the new DLC brought with it broken achievements that they would include with this patch. 
 
So to re-cap: They never said that the patch would come out the same day or days before, but they were hoping to get it out by then. Big difference. When they saw broken achievements they would also fix these in the same patch. Right now its in the final prosses of Q&A, so sometime in october yes.

I guess there is no hard date yet but I thought it was coming out around the same time as the goty edition because that's what everyone was reporting.  Guess I can't blame them for trying to fix stuff for the patch but it's not like I made up a date for when the patch was supposed to come out.  I can wait but it's going to be hard when Fallout is around the corner and I still have to play Medal of Honor, Dead Rising 2, and a bunch of other stuff.

I am willing to be it's more certification issues on Microsoft's end than anything. They probbably want the patch across all platforms at the same time, and maybe microsoft's backlog slowed it down.

I'll buy the DLC once the patch is released.

I downloaded the DLC but I want to wait until the patch.  IDK if I can withstand the awesomeness of the Robolution though.

ive had the dlc for well over a week now and ive barely been able to play it because of this stupid patch delay. can they pleeeeease hurry up with it. i need my borderlands fix!

God this is frustrating me. I've been waiting since day one with two other friends for this patch to come out to clear Claptrap's Robot Revolution.  
We all bought it day one and we've all been sitting on our hands so we don't have to play through the whole DLC pack as lvl 61s. 
Not saying it's too big of a deal but I wouldn't have cared nearly as much as if they had just delayed the DLC until the patch was ready.

Ridiculous. a couple of weeks from now? What in the hell happened over at Microsoft that they're certs can be this backed up for a huge title. They even had the audacity to put up the On Demand version before the damn patch release.

Yeah, I bought the new Claptrap DLC because I figured the new level cap would be out a few days from it. By the time this comes out I'm going to be busy with finals... D:

Pretty annoyed with the wait and i'm sure if I was at the current cap and waiting for the rise to play Claptrap DLC I would be pissed!

Waiting for the patch is a bit annoying, but at least I have about 237 other games to keep me busy in the mean time... God, I love the holiday release window.

Wow, I'm glad I didn't end up getting Claptrap just yet, I didn't know that they were relying on a separate patch to up the level cap. I'll probably get it then when this patch is released.

I'm still waiting to start the Robo-lution DLC, but the wait isn't really bothering me much since there are loads of new games coming out that are occupying my time.
