    Unless that bank is shared between characters i see no use for it as i have 1000 inventory slots.

    The skill points sounds nice though.

    @Xakura: strange thats not how it worked for me. i had the die respawn then carry on from where you died, Dudes still came in like normal but i didn't have to face like 5 badasses at once again.

    If this DLC is anywhere near as good as the first, then I'll definitely be buying it.

    Fighting Flynt and Sledge at the same time? Vampire and low-gravity mode? Loot bank? I'm listening. But the skill points thing seems like a balk. I wonder what else they're up to ...

    So is this like Horde and Firefight for Gears of War 2 and Halo 3: ODST, respectively?

    @End_Boss:
    That's more or less what I was going to say. It's similar to what happens with any encounter. Any enemies that you have killed will remain dead, but all damage done to still living enemies will be reset.

    Update: Gearbox Software says that Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot is "not just new deathmatch areas." CEO Randy Pitchford notes "This is an ENTIRELY NEW GAME MODE."

    "Think [Halo 3] ODST's 'Firefight' or Gears of War's 'Horde Mode.' Cash, prizes and competition!" Pitchford said in a statement from Gearbox. "It's like Smash TV in coop FPS, but in the Borderlands."

    Gearbox reps say the new Borderlands downloadable content "expands greatly on the possibilities of combat as well adding a ton of new rules such as vampire mode or low gravity mode..."

     Sounds neat, very neat indeed.    "
    That makes it sound a bit more interesting, but since I have the PC version, I won't get too excited.

    "The arenas featured in the DLC are not PvP arenas, it's a questline that takes you to several different coliseums that feature different challenges. Of course, the possibility of an additional PvP arena is there, but that is not the main feature of the DLC. "
    Oh, nice. I guess I didn't catch that from the press release. So are there quests to do in the arenas for the main game, or is this a new thing just for the DLC?

    We got zombies and now vampire mode.  I'm expecting werewolves to show up in the 3rd batch of DLC.

    Have yet to buy the first DLC... I'm trying to enjoy all the goodies I bought this year and holding off to buying anything until next month.

    I would have bought the Zombie Island DLC when it was released on PC yesterday, but saw that it had 5-machine activation limit SecuRom (even on the Steam version!).  So as much as I enjoy Borderlands, I can't support that.  Not until it's removed or it goes on sale for $2-$3 or something.

    The areas sound pretty cool especially when you throw in vampire mode and low gravity. Hoping the bank is accessible to all your characters but I doubt it.

    I hear from a reliable source that Tim Schafer is co-developing the third pack to cram in some inappropriate RTS elements.
