    Overview

    The company was founded in Japan, by Dutch-Indonesian-American game designer/entrepreneur, Henk Rogers, in 1983. The company was initially known for computer RPGs, such as The Black Onyx and Dimensional Fighter Epsilon3, but later became better known for introducing Tetris outside of the Soviet Union.

    In 1996, Rogers left Bullet-Proof Software and moved from Japan to Hawaii, USA, where he founded Blue Planet Software. Subsequently, Bullet-Proof Software eventually ceased operations in 2001.
