Some IGN staff member said that they would be posting an exclusive trailer today from a game that no one's heard from in awhile.

Thats a pretty awesome trailer actually. I want to see the whole thing in normal forward motion.

Totally thought that game got axed. Wonder what kind of game it will be. 

As someone who still loves Zombies, I think this game will be awesome.
Also, it appears to be raining here over my computer.

At first all I could think about was "Great, another game with zombies in it."
 
By the end of the trailer, however, I was having a hard time holding back the tears. Wow.

Wow, surprised to heear about this again. They did kinda miss the zombie trend by a few months.

It's a zombie game... But I'll let it slide. That was a great trailer and this game was announced in 2007, way before the big zombie craze. Post Dead Rising and pre-Left 4 Dead.

I am so glad this game isn't canned like I thought it was. The trailer looks incredible I cannot wait for more. I love zombies,always have and I always will. This has me salivating.

Uh, they must be extremely emotionally fragile people because NAH. Dead kid, sad music, yeah, I guess but then you get into ridiculous zombie carnage and uncanny valley facial animations and you're reminded, "oh yeah, this is a video game". Akira Kurosawa's Ikiru made me cry, this didn't even come close.

If that trailer were a woman I would make sweet, sweet love to it.

Well that trailer was a real bummer. Don't get me wrong, I thought the trailer was amazing, but also very powerful and sad. For once I hope someone make a good serious zombie game. 
 
It would be nice if this trailer was indicative of the feel of the game is what I'm saying. 

I would pay money just to see another trailer that is just as good as that one.

That was an incredible trailer, i assume the game won't live up to it but until then i'm hyped for this game.

The trailer was pretty amazing, hard for the actual to live up to that. Still an open world first person zombie games with a good story could be pretty fun, making it mostly melee based is an interesting idea.

So it's Left4Dead... On an Island.  With less guns.

The point is, this trailer sticks out with some pretty heavy shit for a video game trailer. Zombies and game-graphics aside, the idea of watching your child get brutally murdered and being forced to toss her out a window - and out of your life - is pretty emotional. People are reacting to that, not another zombie game trailer.

That was a hell of a trailer. I actually got chills watching it. I'm beyond happy to see that this game will finally be coming out.

This was on a completely different level as far as video game trailers go.

Wow. That is one great trailer. And the game actually seems interesting as well, with the customizable weapons and RPG elements.

I know you are just baiting me, but the material dealt with in that film rings true and is extremely well-realized. A zombie outbreak with sappy music overlaying it does not accomplish that. I don't care about or relate to those characters so I don't care at all about what happens to them. As for actual footage of death and disaster, kind of cold but same thing. Not connected to them, probably not going to cry, despite being upset and disturbed by the images. "

That's fine just make your arguments as well thought out as that one and I won't ever have to do that again. It's easy to be so reductive as that. The way you worded your first comment made you sound like an idiot and with your second comment you obviously aren't one. Just explain and don't be so reductive. "

Oh wow. Incredibly haunting, while still pretty sad. More resembles a trailer for a CGI zombie movie it's that fantastic and touching. ='(   
Reading up on the gameplay, it looks like it'll get a lot of Left 4 Dead Rising gags.

I wish this game was a 3rd person action game. Zombie FPS, really? Again?
