    @swat200:
Might as well get inb4 spoilers.

    1)You get this game legit?
2)How linear is the game and is it bad because of it?
    3)Does it get monotonous?
    (Avoid spoilers if you can)

@kingzetta: its fantastic. one of the best survival horror games ive played so far. it is however really action heavy in some spots but its not to its detriment

@Afroman269: 1) yep got it from my work
2)Its linear if you want it to be. it has a similar line concept from the first game but you can always still kinda wonder around and find some off the beaten path stuff
    3) I found it started to drag a little bit at the end but that might also of been because i spent nearly 8 hours straight playing it and just wanted to finish

@Slaker117: i played on easy actually because i like to beat a game first on easy to get the story and then go back on hard and play more for the intense mechanical experience. however even on easy it took me a solid 7ish hours and it definitely does not feel short.

@Slaker117: DIsk swap is done during an elevator scene the game just pauses and then asks to put disk 2 in. only took me maybe 15 seconds it was really fast. they also totally needed the disks because this game is longer then the last and has more dialog then the first. plus I'm not positive but i think this may be a new(er) engine and is taking up more space because everything looks better to me then the last time out.

@Delta_Ass: well i was also testing to see if one of the secret achievement was beat the game with the plasma cutter. but the game im pretty sure also detects what your using and then generates ammo from baddies dependent on that. so you can totally use whatever you want to your hearts content.

Uh, sorry, just thought of some more questions D:

Are there some good puzzle sections? the first game had potential for interesting puzzles (stasis, kinesis, zero G), but there were only a couple of good ones.
Is the RIG still the same as it was in the first game? or have they changed things around a bit?

So weird why it needs to be, though. It isn't an overly long game, around the same length as the original I've heard, and the multiplayer isn't exactly all that fleshed out either.

well, good for you. I don't need  spoiler. but I bought dead space 2 game guide book two days ago which is little weird. it usually comes with the release day of game. anyway, I have red this book so far. there are lots of maps, few more new necromorphs (like stalker). it has 15 chapters which obviously longer than DS 1. Nicole will come around Issac more than twice by illusion. there 4 characters through the game. three different types of boss fight . basically, game offers you 4 suits. last one is advanced suit. for MP, it has level 60. when you achieve level 59, you will get Visceral games suit. XP is also connected with SP when you buy something in store.  MP has five different maps which are Escape, fuel core, marker lab, solar array, and titan mines.

three suit & weapon packages are coming soon. anyway, since I preordered PC version of collector's edition, I don't care less about extraction bonus content or dead space ignition. but I will buy 'dead space aftermath' animation DVD.

Wow I had no idea that the 360 version had 2 discs. Glad I'm getting the PS3 version now more than ever. I hate that disc swapping thing. Besides I all ways install stuff to the hard drive so it takes up a ton of space.

@HadesTimes: well, when I bought mass effect 2 game for PC last year, it came with 2 discs. so it's not surprised at all. that means there are lot more contents than previous one which is a good sign. I have tons of  games (since early 2009) in my HDD as well. I have five different backup HDD (total 10TB). so I have no problem to take space. oh, when you buy console version whatever xbox 360, PS 3, they will come with extra bonus contents which are dead space extraction, and dead space ignition. but I guess that they are only for collector's edition?
