Ya so i tried to get Simms to arrest Burke, bad idea, and Simms is now dead (His gun is cool though) as is Burke because i wanted revenge (His gun is cool as well), but now im worried i wont be able to get the house key, who do i go to if i complete the quest? I could really use a house to ditch items, im currently using Morias back room for storage.

The guide says im supposed to talk to Simms, but hes not around anymore, So will i not be able to get a house?

His son Harden Simms will give you the reward for completing the quest.

MADNESS! Why wouldn't you want to blow the shit up of a city and then watch the fireworks at your nice house in a protected building full of rich people dressed as they would before the war!?!?!?

I had a similar problem. When I got to the building I now live in, there was a human/mutant (or whatever). so I just killed him. when I got in some dude told me ''If you kill that dude I'll give ya' lots of money''. Anyways, it doesn't make sense because he is already dead, but he keeps asking if I killed him and I can't say yeah.

The second Simms started talking to Burke I just shot Burke in the face.

BTW there are a number of quests in which the invulnerable child assumes the role of bequeather of goodies should all adults should, ahem, somehow meet an untimely end.  And by untimely, I mean dying before you complete the quest.  The Superhuman Gambit quest is a good example.
