I listen to the entire thing, even if there is a subject I don't care about or find boring, the guys still are hilarious and crack jokes so it keeps it entertaining.
Do you skip certain parts while listening to the Bombcast?
The reverse actually happens to me. Often, something may get my attention while I listen to a podcast in general and a game name will be said once during a whole discussion about it, leaving me confused if I don't rewind a few seconds back just to find out they were talking about Cooking Mama not Modern Warfare.
I listen to the podcasts in bits through the whole day, so no, there's no need. The problem with the podcast is the same as with the Endurance Run - sometimes I think it's too long, but at the same time, I get annoyed when there's a short episode of ED and I think the same would apply to the Bombcast. Setting yourself to watching or listening in bits is the best solution - if there's an awesome part, there's no problem with making the bit longer, if "boring" stuff comes, you just leave it for the next 15 minutes after you cool down and it becames much more interesting.
Okay, it's time for a pointless and dumb digression!
Shit, after comparing Bombcast with Endurance Run, I realised that when the ER ends, there's not a friggin' way for the Bombcast to take its place in my heart. Reason - ONCE A WEEK.
ER is made of great character development, touching/funny moments, awesome plot and happy randomness that ensues almost the whole goddamn week, which results in awesome. Bombcast is made of awesome itself, but it runs once a week. After the Endurance Run ends, I'm going to suffer from a great loss of awesome in my organism.
It's not going to end. Right?
Nope, If the discussion doesn't interrest me I'll usually just zone out but skipping it...... NEVEEEEEER
I typically don't bother skipping any section since I usually just have it on in the background while I'm doing something else. Occasionally I will skip the "New Releases" section though just because that tends to be the least interesting portion of most episodes in my opinion.
" Besides the part with the Treyarch community manager at the very beginning of one of those episodes, I don't go out of my way to skip segments. "This exactly. That's the only part I've ever skipped.
" I skipped the part where that girl from gamasutra spoke.... so yeah, skipped the whole podcast because she wouldn't shut up.Other than that i never skip em. "Leigh is awesome, you're crazy. Although, crazy people are entitled to their crazy opinions. Anyways, no, I don't really skip around podcasts. As someone else said, I might zone out if I'm not that interested in what's being discussed, but if it's that painful for me to listen to, I just won't finish it. Though, that hasn't happened with the Bombcast.

Again, don't get me wrong, i'm sure she's intelligent, and i've seen a couple of pictures, i'd do that woman 100 times over. But the fact is that when she speaks, my ears are bleeding. And she likes to speak too much and too fast. I don't like it.
" i just wish break music could appear more "I love the break music. But I never skip any of it. Got to listen to it all.
The only time I skip parts is when listening to a podcast for the second time (I use podcasts as an easy way to unwind and get to sleep at night) and there's a particular part I either don't care about or it's too boring to hear it a second time. Usually, that means guest spots or some of the event-specific talk at the beginning of the show.
Hell to the no. I listen to every last second. I usually listen to it at least 3 or 4 times a week, as well.
" I usually listen to it three times. I listen to it pretty much everywhere, doing anything, at any time. I'll miss spots here and there if I zone out for whatever reason, so I've found multiple listens help out. "
heck no...too afraid I'm going to miss on something
if I don't listen to the whole thing at one time, I usually return back where I left off.
" If its a boring part or if they are talking about an issue that does not interest me then yes I skip. I think on average I only listen to about an hour off of the 2 hour cast. Very rarely I listen to the whole cast and it usually happens when they have a guest on. "Same here.
