Probably just gonna listen to it while playing Skyrim and everytime I hear world ima run into the next room to watch.

Probably just do what you're going to be doing. Play Skyrim, and when they announce a trailer, I'll pause and watch the trailer.

It can't get much worse than last year with NPH audibly telling the audience he was only there for a paycheck and wanted to leave.

Hell no. Why? For lame jokes & games I don't care about winning meaningless awards, especially when there's a UFC PPV for the light heavyweight title tonight? Nuh uh.

I'm only interested in the trailers/title announcements (if that, they're usually for games that I don't care about, like the Mass Effect or Assassin's Creed series), and the big game websites will keep track of them tonight w/o me having to watch the show.

I will have it on as bg noise also I kinda like the lady voice in a ironic way

They announced the announcements? I don't pay attention to nothing involving VGA, so i don't know how does that work, but, ANNOUNCING THE ANNOUNCEMENT, sounds dumb. It kinda makes sense, but still... Also, what games they're going to announce?

Rainbow Six: Patriots, Transformers Fall of Cybertron, Bioshock, the new Alan Wake, Metal Gear Rising, the Amazing Spider-man, the Last of Us (the big new PS3 exclusive), a new Tony Hawk, a new Epic game, and a new Bioware game (almost definitely Command & Conquer).

It's not a bad line up, but the trailers will be online immediately after the show, it's not worth sitting through just to see these.

I'll compress my exam study breaks during the day to spend the two hours to watch it. It's usually pretty entertaining as long as you're not there to rage over which game wins what award. Also World Premiers.

Also super excited to see what Epic has coming, and Bioware gets one chance to stay in my respected studios list, so hopefully they announce something interesting.
