It's still breaking news, apparently, since I can only find a few links about it.
I say we all swing our arms from side to side in tribute.

Wow, that dude looks like the one guy from that PBS show where they used to drive around looking for used stuff people are giving away on their curbs and then rebuild it into really weird cool unusual stuff and then give it back to them. Either that, or one of the Clack and Clack Brothers.

I'm going to try and watch some Super Mario Bros Super Show tonight, in rememberance.

If only Lou had Kuribo's Shoe.  He'd still be alive today.

While I have no idea who that is, I'm sorry he died. Simply because he was a fellow human being, and I love you all.

@JJOR64:

I will always remember him as Mario from that show.

Bob Hoskins can not hold a candle to Captain Lou's Mario. I wonder if his grave will be covered in rubber bands.

That sucks.  I remember watching that Mario show when I was a kid with my brother and cousin.

He was Mario's voice actor before Charles Martinet came along.

And a WWE Legend (although not as important).

Massive suckage!  RIP Cap'n!

#20 Posted by Diamond (8634 posts) -

Oh that sucks.  I always thought that Mario's voice in games should have been Lou, gruff and low, not high pitched Mickey Mouse.

Why do that when you could rather flaunt your ignorance to the whole site.

Lou kept showing up during my childhood, wether it was as Mario, managing in the WWF or being the dad in the video for Girl's Just Wanna have fun when it played on MTV. And it was always awesome.

RIP Lou, I'll flinging some rubberbands for you tonight

BTW this should be moved to the Mario forum if you ask me

I used to be a wrestling fan, either he changes his appearance a lot, somehow I just never noticed him, or my memory sucks.

In March 1989, on Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, Albano had his trademark beard shaved on the air in order to star as the iconic video game character Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. Along with Danny Wells, he co-starred in live action segments during interludes of the Mario cartoon, as well as providing the voice of his animated counterpart.

Oh yeah, I remember him!!! He was pretty cool, and the show wasn't too bad. Childhood memories don't die, shame he died though.
