I stopped paying attention to them a long time ago. I'm glad I'm able to filter out the Quest board.
Do you really care about the Giant Bomb quests?
I care about quests because most of them are fun to do.
I'm curious if more people would care about quests if it showed your level on or below the avatar on the forums.
Nah, I'm level 8 and every achievement I've received has been by accident. There's one over on AV that might have changed my behavior, but nothing on GB.
Nope, never really liked the idea and it's lead to a lot of spam.. Especially when a new article is posted and there's instantly 5 or 6 posts of people just saying "meh" or "cool" to try and get one of them. All the quests I've achieved have been completely be accident.
I went after a few the first days after they came out, but quickly stopped.
Nowadays, whenever I get one, I just think "oh, a quest". Sometimes I click on it to see what it is, but that's it. I don't even have the quest to follow 25 people, and that would be certainly a piece of cake.
I only like the scavenger hunt quests.
I especially hate the bullshit quests that require someone else doing something for you.
" @JJWeatherman said:I'm confused too." I can't say that I really do. I never did. They've always been a fun thing to do, but beyond that I'm not super compelled to go after them. But that's just me. "This. I don't know if I press Yes or No to this though... "

Yes. I went out of my way to do things I would never have done otherwise (like updating every day for a month) just to move a meaningless meter a little higher.
It would of been straight up "No" until about half an hour ago when I completed the He's on fire quest set, the first quest set I've sat down and spent a good amount of time completing for a while. So yeah, "Depends how I'm feeling" would be a welcome option. =P" @Jasta said:
" Not really, yet I find myself doing them, so ehm...yes? "Makes you wish there was an "other option" in this poll. Some I care about... others, whatever. "
No, nor do I care for S-ranks. I feel they are as useless as achievements for bragging rights. The notion that I have to buy each piece of DLC to brag about something or even feel accomplished is kinda lame. Some, if not most, DLC is really unjustifiable. I think quests are a fine side-activity when you're extremely bored though as are achievements/S-Ranks.
yes and no, but only when they are good quests, alot of the recent limited ones have been completely spammy stupid.
I really like the quests that make you think about things and test your geekdom, but sometimes they can be a little to cryptic for my tastes and the one that says you have to synch up with your twitter just seems kinda pointless because your not really doing anything but overall i think they are a fun and really unique aspect to whiskey media
yes, I care abou them. Sometimes they can be annoying like the picture upload quest. I love it when its more of a hunt like the NBA Jam one.
Yes, I'm an achievement whore on my favorite games and I'm here now too but I don't really know what ranking up gets you so I guess it's just for fun?
Nope. Haven't done one in a while. If I did get one it was just by generally browsing the site.
It was fun for a while but then the spam just left a bad taste in my mouth.
I did at first, but the novelty soon wore off. I guess I enjoy them when a set revolves around something I'm interested in, but many were just a race to see how fast I could get them done. Open wikipedia and 3 GB tabs (search, quest forums, personal quest page) and begin process of elimination. It just got to the point where they became tedious..like a chore, so I stopped. The ultimate reward should be having fun with them, and not the level you gain. I don't think I've ever acknowledged a single member's quest level or achievement points.
