I know that many people hate QTE. If you do, go away and don't post in this thread because it will just become full of unintellectual posts like "QTE sucks", "No", "I hate QTE". That's good and fine if you don't like them, just don't post here.
I would definitely have to say mine is Shenmue II, but I have played the demo for Ninja Blade and loved it. I thought the QTE mixed with the cinematics really well, I just have to play the full game to get the whole experience.
Which QTE based game is your favorite?
EDIT: I know Shenmue isn't QTE based (What with the fighting, gambling, puzzles, etc. Man that game is good) but QTE is a huge chunk of the cinematic parts.
Favorite QTE based game?
RE4 if that counts. It had the advantage of being the first QTE game I played though (other than a few minutes of Shenmue)
@SmashedControllers: I'm just scared that the characters won't suck me in, since there are apparently going to be so many.

" @pause422: I'll quote my earlier post.Uh, grats I guess? You asked what someones favorite QTE based game is, I said I dont like them at all, but the choice would be God of War. Thats answering your question entirely. Also, you dont make forum rules.

Shenmue II had a shitload more QTE than the first game, so that's my pick. Heavy Rain is really intriguing to me, so that just may top it when it comes out.
I'd probly go with Shenmue II for nostalgia's sake. But yeah, Ninja Blade was really awesome too.
I'll go with RE4 because the QTEs allowed me to do kickass stuff the control scheme was too rigid to accommodate normally. I still let out a little whoop every time Leon back-somersaults away from something.
But that was only in the gameplay parts of the game. I've always been of the opinion - and this is getting close to "QTE sucks" territory, I know - that QTEs in cutscenes are a universally bad design choice, since in that format I'd rather just be watching kickass stuff happen.
I hate QTEs but if I had to choose one it would be Time Traveler for its unique presentation which was both eye-catching and moronic.
Has anyone ever heard of Vib-Ribbon? It's somewhat of a mix between QTEs and a music game.

Cutest game ever.
" None, there is no favorite...QTEs are fucking outplayed and Im tired of them...God of War is about the only game I tolerate QTEs in, but thats about it. "
My favourite QTE game is Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, since it's forgiving, and when you fail you have an alternative visual sequence that leads to starting or to the point you miss the QTE.
One that it appears to be bad implemented is in WET.
You miss one key and you die.
