Titles simple enough.
What is, not what you feel is the best, or the most technically well built game, but what, is your favorite videogame(s) ever?
Mine would have to be a tie between two games from the PS2/Xbox era.....Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
How about you all?
Favorite.....game......ever!!!
But you would be wrong. Probably less wrong than my favourite, Rainbow Six Gold (The one with Rogue Spear packed in) on PC. I had a lot of fun with that back in the day... good times. Shooters have gone on to be far more arcadey since..." @Video_Game_King said:
" Every one of your answers is wrong. The correct response would be "Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu." "While I agree that that is a good game, I still prefer Persona 4. "

" Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time or Battlefield 2. (Singleplayer / Multiplayer) WTF with people saying persona 4, out of all the RPGS? You lot are so fickle. FFX?! P3:FES?! Mass Effect!? Fallout!? Oblivion!? Diablo!? "Yes in every case, in my opinion. The characters, humour, and gameplay mechanics were more refreshing and enjoyable than the others you listed. Not to say, the others were bad, but, they didn't have the same charm and personality that I prefered. Plus, they took themselves too seriously.
" Commander Keen, I think. I love those games but it's so old there must be something I like better... can't think of anything though. I play it on my netbook all the time. "Do you play a lot of abandonware? I always like Duke Nukem (the original 2D side scroller) better than Keen when I played them. Both fun, definitely, though.
" @Tylea002 said:Almost. I had over 50 before my I replaced my old xbox for a newer one, now over 100 on that one, and over 30 on my 360. So 200*ish*." @JJOR64 said:200 hours? Holy fuck. "" @Tylea002 said:Damn right. 200ish hours I've spent with it is not enough. "" Ninja Gaiden Black. Yes you heard right. "Ninja Gaiden Black is a kick ass game. "
But yeah, that game rules.
I'd say Earthbound, Mother 3 and Persona 4 are my top 3. Earthbound is my favorite of all the games, though. Such an amazing game with a charming personality and fun game play. I could never get tired of playing it.
How do you like Persona 4 as your best game EVER!?
The characters are annoying stupid, asking obvious questions, and just getting in the way of better decisions any player would make.
In Persona 3 (just for comparison), the stakes are higher than 10 people dying, IE the entire human race. Your allies offer suggestions that suprise you with their logic, making you feel like part of a real team, not a carer for a bunch of retarded kids with such sterotypical issues its painful to watch it play out.
" @JJOR64 said:I guess I played Kingdom Hearts about that much so we are even." @Tylea002 said:Almost. The original Knights of the Old Republic is my favorite game...oddly enough, I don't currently own a copy though.
Gonna have to go with Final Fantasy IX. I pretty much enjoyed every moment of it, and as soon as I beat it I had an urge to just keep playing through it over and over.
" Okami. I've yet to play anything as good as -- or better than -- Okami. "Okami is pretty damn close to my favorite ever, i would soil myself if they would announce a sequel :D
" Okami. I've yet to play anything as good as -- or better than -- Okami. "There are a lot of games waiting for you, aren't there :P?
