Mine was 'Alien Versus Predator' on the SNES.
Took me like 5 hours or something and I had to leave it on pause when it was dinner time. I think I must have been about 10.
Awesome.
First game you ever finished?
You know what game was hard? Pitfall on the mega drive.
I mention it only because I tried to finish that game. tried.
Dont know what made me think of that.
" Crash Bandicoot 2 on the PS1. i bragged to people forever that i beat that game "Hah! same, what a great feeling.
" Christ you're all kids!! I finished Mario Bros on the NES, and TMNT on the nes too, cant remember which first. "I played those, but I was too young to care about finishing them. Since then, I've beaten several others. I'm looking at my SNES copy of TMNT right now...man, cartridges.
Going way back to the Genesis days now. Didn't FINISH many games back then, but I think one of the first ones was Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition. You could play as both the Raptor and Dr. Grant. Raptor wasn't too hard to charge through with, but beating it as Dr. Grant took some doing. Finally did it eventually.
" I have no clue. I don't even remember what the first 'beatable' game I played was. First game I can clearly remember passing is Shinobi on Master System. Wish I knew for sure though. "Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I been playing games since I could remember but I don't remember the first one I beat. I would have to say Super Mario on the SNES, is the farthest back I could remember.
Holy shit I loved that game. I was a little too young to try and finish it, but I remember thinking the game looked like something from the future but with dinosaurs....so everything i ever wanted.
I didnt finish mario and to this day I havent finished any mario games because im terrible at platformers. I think I finished duck hunt. I had a nes since launch and I dont remember that far before.
The first game i ever completed was comix zone on the PC when i was 10. It wasnt until several years later that I realised just how difficult that game was.
