Giantbomb name-dropped on Xbox - General Discussion

Hey all,

sorry if this has been posted - I done a search and trailed through some pages and couldn't see anything - quite surprised really.

So, in the latest "Sent U a Message" on Xbox, one of the questions is "When is Bastion coming out". Mr. Pointy Head and Superkaylo say that users should head over to giantbomb.com for coverage of Bastion!

Don't know for definite if Sentuamessage goes outside of the UK, but I'm pretty sure it does. Check out the Inside Xbox channel on your Xbox to see!

That's pretty awesome. It was great coverage on GB's part though so likely to convert a lot of people over hopefully.

I think Sentuamessage is exclusive to the UK. It's our alternative to the Major Nelson show.

I've seen it a few times on the 360's dashboard. Giant Bomb even name dropped them (made fun of the guy's hair) on a mailbag once.

Edit: I suppose I should mention that I'm in the U.S. and I've seen it advertised a few times and watched one episode before.

I sort of like Sent U A Message even though it is extremely dumb. Good to see GB's getting some recognition for their work.

I read the title as they had said something negative about GB

Just saw it there. At about 5 minutes into the video a question was asked about more details and a release date for Bastion. They don't give out a release date but talk about the game mechanics and style for about a minute. The segment ends with Giantbomb being referenced. The exact quote is "If you want to gain a frank insight into the game's development check out the excellent "Building the Bastion" Series at Giantbomb.com"

Is that the thing that is always taking up my XBOX screen space with a photo of a couple of guys that look like emo Justin Bieber, in between the spam about Kinect crap on one side and avatar crap on the other side? I know I sound like I'm down on it, but I always thought it was nice that Microsoft offered an opportunity to present the view of some gay gamers on its service and give them their own show.

I like the people who do the UK inside xbox stuff, they seem to have an actual fun loving personality and don't mind jabbing fun at shit xbox games.

Ah Sent U a Message, your always a good source for information :p I find them to be one of the better free featurettes on the dashboard
