I need a game that's going to grab me and keep me addicted for 40+ hours. And I need you guys to help me find a game like that, I will take recommendations for SP games for the PC and PS2. And as soon as someone recommends a game I like then I will buy it by Friday and probably post a blog or some bullshit review about it.
Thank you and recommend away.
I need a game that's going to addict the shit out of me.
Also, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is addictive, but in a different sort of way. I play that game in hour long sessions throughout the week whereas WoW was... four to five hour long sessions throughout the week.
What's up? Why do you seek addiction? Some little philly break your heart? Trying to stop smoking? Been there, done all of that. Replacing one addiction with another is no way to go.
Edit: sorry, the recommendation portion of my post is worthless. Neither are single player oriented, and BC2 is on current-gen systems only. I guess Assassin's Creed 2, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Dragon Age: Origins, Kingdom Hearts, and Fallout 3 would all be good contenders.
Fallout 3 and Oblivion with mods. Fallout 3 Nexus and TES Nexus are great sites to find 'em. Plus, you can buy both for $50 at Amazon.
" Fallout 3 and Oblivion with mods. Fallout 3 Nexus and TES Nexus are great sites to find 'em. Plus, you can buy both for $50 at Amazon. "Oblivion has already soaked up about 300+ hours of my life, I can't go back to it.
There is always Morrowind and Dwarf Fortress. Both are about as addictive as games get.
I don't know if it'll last 40+ hours, but i was quite surprised by, and really enjoyed, Plants vs. Zombies. I put a lot of time into Mount & Blade. How about The Sims 3? My other suggestions have already been mentioned. Try shopping around on Steam.
Peggle. You can get Peggle and Peggle Nights in one giant collection for $15 and that shit'll keep you for 20 hours a piece. Then get Plants vs. Zombies and NEVER LEAVE YOUR COMPUTER AGAIN
" Elder scrolls 4: Oblivion - easily more than 40 hours Dragon Age - or tourchlight Red Alert 3 "Can people read topics before posting. God.
So far out of all the recommendations I'm leaning towards either Persona 4 or the Witcher. I've played both games but I've never gotten around to finishing them, I was really hoping somebody would recommend some gem of a game that I never played/heard of but I guess I can settle with these two games.
