If you could have a game made of any movie, what would it be?

This also goes vice versa, what game you would make a movie of.

awesome story in those games and so many layers to the plot and the characters are awesome

i have said for years that i though the highlander games were prime fodder for a game and it looks it that is happening now

I can’t think of any films which would translate into a decent game really... Although I do hope for a REAL Battlestar Galactica game, no XBLA crap.

However I reckon the first Half-Life would make a decent idea for a movie.

the transported, I think that a game based on both movies would be pretty good. Or crank.

Movies and games storylines are so different they don't usually translate well, unless they deviate greatly from the story. And all the films I love I wouldn't want to see the story deviated from.

I would like to see the transporter films changed into a game.  Awesome driving sequences with close combat martial arts sounds like a winner to me

I would love to see something like Sin City portrayed in that style in video game form. The I'm more so thinking of Comic to video game I guess...A video game I would love to see a movie made from...that I think would be good. I would say Max Payne, but that's obviously already being done and looks pretty good. Besides that I would probably love to see a Shadow of the Colossus movie if it could somehow match the beauty of the game, but I don't think it's possible to capture that game in any other media.

I would also love to see KOTOR in movie form because that would mean we actually get a good Star Wars movie again!

I just want my Metal Gear Solid movie. And it should be animated or computer-generated. Not Live Action.

the guyver: dark hero could be very cool, and could get david hayter to reprise his role for the game. other than that i cant really think, maybe a game of the TV show space: above and beyond, that would be cool...

I would like to see Fahrenheit (Indigo Phophecy) made into a movie because it has a great story and cinematic presentation. I'm not too sure on what movie I would like to see as a game, though. Maybe a set of James Bond titles in the Bourne Conspiracy engine.

The Final Countdown - get to fight WII in the Pacific as a modern (for the 80's) Nimitz carrier battle group, freakishly sent back in time to just before pearl harbor. The game would deviate from teh movie in allowing you to stay and fully participate in the war.

Taxi Driver :  GTA+Condemned+Crazy Taxi+ Di Niro = win

Red Dawn - this one pretty much is an easy one. It would be like Freedom Fighters, but without the suck, following the Wolverines as they battle the reds, using swappable squad mechanics, stealth guerrilla game play, assassination and sabotage. OR yo could follow a differnt, paralell group of partasins as they figh tthe reds, OR it could become an MMO style game with back and forth combined arms (thin Frontlines:FOW) across the entire country, playable as both sides. .

I would LOVE to see Deus Ex made into a (good) movie. Also Freespace and Splinter Cell would be pretty awesome as well. Watch the opening cutscene to Freespace 1 on YouTube.
