I was surprised how mature Jeff was about the situation as it was happening, everything was in chaos around every gaming forum, and he got back on his two feet and created the best site EVER FUCKING CREATED.
Wait. They pulled his review, then put it back up? Wow, dude they must have lost a lot of traffic over Gerstmanngate. But, that's what they get, fuck 'em. There are plenty of other gaming sites that offer much of the same info, and of course there's our beloved GiantBomb which gives us the best lowdown on the best games (and then some).
Jeff you've really started something man, and although the situation which precipitated this whole website is unsavory to say the least; I salute what you've accomplished. Long live Giant Bomb.

I doubt Jeff will review the game at all, due to the inevitable bias. If GB does review it, there's little doubt in my mind that it will be someone other than Jeff.

Dude, Gaming forums are usually people who aren't that mature, In his situation, working for a company for what was it, ten plus years, it would hit you like a brick.
I think out of everything, It wasn't as much as him not being mature, But more in a state of shock, And there was no need for him to go crazy as everybody else was doing that for him, He seems to be a humble guy anyway, so I don't think acting up is his behaviour, And remember he still had his mates working there aswell, so he could not really bag them even if he wanted to, and when circumstances like that happen, You can't talk about it, because of the legal BS, And I don't even think he want's to either. I reckon he has his eyes on the future, That's why we will never really know what happened.

I hope he does review the 2nd one since he did review the first (if only for another site). But he really was dead on with his assessment. He gave it just above average, a 6.0 which is just a bit more than what I would have given it. It did have a cool premise to start out with and some great gameplay could have been garnered from the duo but everything really fell flat as far as the character development, storyline progression, graphics, sound, and even the shooting mechanics between the two where just take it or leave it. I would have personally given it a 5.5. The .5 was for the somewhat cool idea and execution of the multiplayer aspect called "Fragile Alliance".
I didn't buy the first (actually played it in my friends basement while he was gone on vacation) and won't buy the second unless they have really turned things around, but even then I have some morals issues with this game as you might all be aware of (see; Gerstmann-gate).
I enjoyed most of the comments; however, there was one comment calling us sociopaths, I don't think we are sociopaths just enthusiasts. But anyway there were also comments bashing Jeff, not a whole lot, but most were probably done by people who weren't even members of Gamespot to know who Jeff was and only know about what happened. But I digress, I love seeing the support for Jeff and Giantbomb in those messages.

if im not going crazy then i remember jeff saying on the podcast that he hopes this game does good though... doesnt sound like a bias to me
i love seeing how much support for Gerstmann is still on that sire. GS will never live it down and neither will Eidos. although Kane and Lynch has actually been remembered by a lot of people. for a pretty bad game that has to be something haha

TBH I think the thing thats bothering me most is I have yet to see any real gameplay footage of K&L2 and I don't really "blame" eidos for Jeff termination at Gamespot, I rather blame CNET for caving to advertiser pressure, because ad pressure is always there (no one wants to have bad review scores).
