thoughts? there's not really any info, hopefully more will be announced at e3, or gdc.
Mass Effect 2 in 2010

looks like ps3 users won't get the option to use saved profiles from the original ME"
Wait . . . doesn't that upset the premise of the game? How does Bioware plan on getting around only releasing the sequels of a game heavily dependent on its own continuity for the PS3? Unless they have a plan to re-release the original.
"RHCPfan24 said:That is unfortunate. Still, they are getting it. That is good enough to begin with. I am surprised they made that move in the first place."AND it is multiplatform as well. That is pretty interesting."

"Thrawn said:easy solution. have it set a few years after the original ME and barely connect the storylines. you know, just like kotor 2."RHCPfan24 said:Oh, right. I completely forgot about that."AND it is multiplatform as well. That is pretty interesting."

"There has been no PS3 version announced. By multiplatform they mean 360 and PC.This is true?
That is all."
Okay. Yeah, that does make a lot more sense.
Loved the first Mass Effect. Hopefully they can have a game that is glitch/bug free. Still can't believe they couldn't patch the first game. I know that they will do an awesome job on #2.
I'm still working my way through the original (played it again last night). I can only hope they fix some things by 2010. My biggest pet peeve, no 'warp' back to the ship in order to switch out team members like in KOTOR. Also, most vehicle missions are tedious and irritating. If I could upgrade the weapons and armor on the M35 MAKO then they might be more enjoyable.
Finally, I hope that my "Shepard" carries over seamlessly to Mass Effect 2, if she appears in the sequel.
Otherwise, I am digging this game a whole lot and will likely pick it up when it's released.
