Apparently this doesn't seem to be the next Persona sequel, but instead a spinoff to that series. So it's a spinoff of another spinoff basically.

Heh, not surprised that P3 is getting all the spin-offs (then again P4 was a spin off of P3).

This is cool, but why even call it persona? It doesn't look to have anything in common with the persona world. It's not even an rpg.

I also hope that Atlus US has been working with the Japanese team from the start. The game is meant to be out at the end of this year in Japan, but if we end up waiting fucking years for a translation... grr!

I am interested in whatever the Persona team are doing, but Persona has not run it's course and I am excited to see another entry in that series. So this is a shame, for me at least, but this might be something worth checking out, even though the screens make it look like a dirty porn game...

The screens look like something from a cheap porno game, hopefully Atlus will prove me wrong.
 
Either way, this is awesome news, as it makes me believe P5 will see a release to X360 as well! Hopefully it won't take too long until EU / US see these titles.

Well,I think it takes place during the events of Persona 3 because Tartarus is in one of the scans.

Apparently Vincent is in P3P in the club,with a portrait.I never really noticed....darn it!

I like the fact that it straight up says "it is a new developed by the persona team(which implies this isn't Persona 5) targeting ADULTS."  
 
See, every time when a Japanese developer says "we are aiming for adults," it really makes the game suspicious in about 5 different ways...

What does spin-off of "Persona" even mean? It's not like "Persona" is a persistent universe full of regular characters you know and love...

I don't know about you guys, but I'm excited about this game.  I'm also hoping this goes worldwide and on the same date.  I'm just glad the Persona team is working on something this isn't a Persona 3 remake.   I'm looking forward to a game that is more adult than most games out there.  I loved the surreal aspects of Killer7, which worked to covertly talk about the relations between America and Japan and the "Eight Islands" theory (or something like that).
