I wouldn't mind taking the mirrors edge key off your hands if its still available for steam? I dont have anything to trade though I'm afraid

#3 Posted by joshwent (1778 posts) -

@winternet: Ooooh! Burnout Paradise please! Although if you redeemed it (or others) on Steam I'm sure they're voided by that. Thanks (anyway)!

#4 Edited by deadeyes (64 posts) -

heh interesting way to say I got the key, but thanks again for it

#5 Posted by joshwent (1778 posts) -

@winternet: Said "Invalid Key" on Steam, but Origin says "Activation Successful"! Not sure what dark serial number magic you worked, winter, but thanks a ton!

Don't share Humble Bundle keys, it's for charity. If you can't spend the ~$5 minimum then you are doing something wrong with your life and should re-evaluate it.

How about not telling people what to do.

I can do whatever I want, just like you cheap bastards can share keys from the cheapest charity donation ever.

There's a thread here also.

Do you even realize what you're writing or is this from the "random forum post generator"?

@subject2change: You do realize that the keys generated from a humble bundle are one-time use, right. There's no "sharing" possible. Just a generous person giving away some games that have already been donated and paid for.

And sure, you can do whatever you want, but if that includes judging random people for doing nothing wrong maybe you could use some "re-evaluation" yourself.

I will love you forever if someone will trade my Dead Island USA for a Dead Island UK key, I stupidly bought it not knowing it was region locked.

Steam/Gamersgate:

  • Dead Island.

Origin:

  • Dead Space.
  • Burnout Paradise.
  • Crysis 2 Maximum Edition.
  • Dead Space 3.
  • Medal of Honour.
  • Mirror's Edge.
  • Sims 3 Starter Pack.
  • Battlefield 3.

It's the same thing as buying lemonade from a charity event, and giving it to your friend. We payed for the keys, aren't using them, so we're giving them away?

And since we're here I have

  • Dead Space
  • Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box
  • Medal of Honor
  • Mirror's Edge

All origin keys, reply to me here or pm me for one.

I'm asking that people who want one at least have some posts.

I have some some keys to give away to some active duders (over 50 posts) Just PM me or reply in the thread, either way works.

  • Deadspace
  • Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box Origin Key ottoman673
  • Crysis 2 Maximum Edition Origin Key
  • Medal of Honor Origin Key
  • Mirror's Edge Origin Key

If everyone wasn't giving away keys then those taking them would also go buy the Humble Bundle instead of just getting a few free games.

On the other hand, I do have a few keys on hand that I'm never going to use so they might as well go to someone.

Yes I know what I wrote, however this is for charity. If people would stop giving out their spare keys, more people would be donating to get their own keys. If you want to be giving, donate another 5 bucks, get a second set and give those out. You can also hold onto these keys and share them at a later time, maybe when this humble bundle goes away.

I delegate $0 of the money for charity....so it's not for charity in my case.

If you got extra keys, why not lottery them away on the Steam Gifts thread? Then the entrants have to be in the invite only group to enter.

#37 Edited by Withershins (2 posts) -

Hello, I have these games for giving away, I really only bought the bundle to get Dead Space + Mirror's Edge on Steam and don't need any of the rest. PM me if you are interested in any of them (50+ posts only)

And what if you do want to be giving, but your job hardly affords you money left over to eat after rent and bills let alone money to buy a game, but someone else who has donated is generous enough to give one to someone who couldn't donate in the first place?

Being a dick about people donating to charity is coming from a good place I guess, but buddy, you're still being a dick.

Sorry if this sounds stupid but where are these keys coming from? Almost all these games I don't own on the PC (I built a gaming PC last Christmas; so I've only started to flesh out my collection with this summer's steam sale). All these games seem pretty good and for charity I'd gladly buy a bundle. Where do I look?

Question. Do both the codes work, like if I activate the steam one can the origin code still be redeemed? I ask because I bought the bundle and activated the codes for the games I didn't already have and would like to know if I can still give them away.
