I've noticed that I have only S-Ranked 3 games Oblivion, King Kong, and some Doritos game and I have the urge, the hunger even to just go all out and S-rank a game.  I can't really decide or even really narrow it down to one game though.  So, I want you guys to give suggestions on what I should S-Rank, try and make it more recent and it's cool if it is more difficult as long it's not going to cause me to commit suicide.  Dead Space 2 is not an option just sayin'.

How about you play games for fun and if you want to S rank a game just google how to do it with no effort if it's that important to get all the pointless amount of pointless points using a pointless points system.

Pfft gamers these days.

Are there any games you are already close to S-ranking? No wait, do Skate 2, that way you can help me with the one last damn achievement.

The easiest one to get would be "Pac-man: CE DX", and it happens to be on sale for 400ms point on XBLA this week. "Stacking" is also a fun and fairly easy one to s-rank.

I have a few S-Ranks.
Recently: Stacking and Costume Quest are easy, and at the same time good S-Ranks that are natural to the game.
Anything from TellTale. Monkey Island Special Edition 1 and 2 are also very cool S-Ranks.
Outside of downloadable games, Assassins Creed 2 and Bioshock are other games that's actually pretty simple to S-Rank, while at the same time feeling natural to the experience and doesn't feel like a grind. For PS3, the Sly Collection is a pretty good investment if you want three Platinum trophies (and big trophy set's for each game) while at the same time playing through three really awesome games.

Half Life 2 Episode 1 is a very easy S Rank for 4 hours of work! Takes just a single playthrough.

I had a lot of fun S-Ranking both ME2 and DA:O but they were time consuming (at least DA:O was) so you better make sure you like the games first...and of course if you want the Giantbomb S-Rank then that means buying the DLC. Assassin's Creed 2 is a good one if you don't want to have to buy the DLC (no achievements with the DLC).

If you want a challange S rank Devil May cry 4. It will take you 100 hours or more and is very difficult. The game is kinda repetitive though.

Achievements do not cover every aspect of a game, just look at Pac Man DX, Avatar, King Kong, any game really, those are just extreme examples. Don't make shitty excuses for the pointlessness of cheevos

So wanting to complete a game to it's fullest is illegitimate?  I am also going to discount your examples of a Pac Man and two movie tie ins as examples of achievements not covering all aspects of a game and I know they don't cover 100% of everything in game, but they do usually lead to highlights of things that the people creating the game would want the player to see.  But who knows I guess I'm just not enough of a game purest for you or at least that's the impression I am getting.

@LackLuster: First thing that popped into my head was Mass Effect 2 (mostly because it was the first game I ever S-ranked). It's pretty easy, though it's a bit of a time commitment and the Insanity play-through is REAL rough, but there's no online to deal with AND you can unlock almost all the points in a single play-through.

Do you like racing games? If so, Need For Speed: Most Wanted. All you have to do to S-rank is beat all of the racers, and you also get a Pretty good racing game experience (if you like that type of game)

I haven't S-ranked a single game, but ironically the game I'm closest to S-ranking is one in which the achievements depend mostly on luck. The only achievement I still need in Poker Night at the Inventory is Straight Flush, which according to Wikipedia I have a slightly better than 0.0015% chance of getting. :(

I think I'm gonna try fallout new Vegas since I'm playing through it right and will probably try ME2 when I get the dlc. Geometry wars 2 is a lost cause I've been trying to get SMILE for a long time now.
