I've noticed that I have only S-Ranked 3 games Oblivion, King Kong, and some Doritos game and I have the urge, the hunger even to just go all out and S-rank a game. I can't really decide or even really narrow it down to one game though. So, I want you guys to give suggestions on what I should S-Rank, try and make it more recent and it's cool if it is more difficult as long it's not going to cause me to commit suicide. Dead Space 2 is not an option just sayin'.
What game should I S Rank?
Are there any games you are already close to S-ranking? No wait, do Skate 2, that way you can help me with the one last damn achievement.
The easiest one to get would be "Pac-man: CE DX", and it happens to be on sale for 400ms point on XBLA this week. "Stacking" is also a fun and fairly easy one to s-rank.
I have a few S-Ranks.
Recently: Stacking and Costume Quest are easy, and at the same time good S-Ranks that are natural to the game.
Anything from TellTale. Monkey Island Special Edition 1 and 2 are also very cool S-Ranks.
Outside of downloadable games, Assassins Creed 2 and Bioshock are other games that's actually pretty simple to S-Rank, while at the same time feeling natural to the experience and doesn't feel like a grind. For PS3, the Sly Collection is a pretty good investment if you want three Platinum trophies (and big trophy set's for each game) while at the same time playing through three really awesome games.
I don't know. I had fun S-Ranking Shadow Complex, Dead Space 2 and Mass Effect 2.
I had a lot of fun S-Ranking both ME2 and DA:O but they were time consuming (at least DA:O was) so you better make sure you like the games first...and of course if you want the Giantbomb S-Rank then that means buying the DLC. Assassin's Creed 2 is a good one if you don't want to have to buy the DLC (no achievements with the DLC).
If you want a challange S rank Devil May cry 4. It will take you 100 hours or more and is very difficult. The game is kinda repetitive though.
" ALL OF THEM!! i don't know. i don't s-rank games. "LIES!!! I you S-ranked Dash of Destruction.
Its not about the points it's the satisfactions that comes with completing every aspects of game seeing everything there is too see" How about you play games for fun and if you want to S rank a game just google how to do it with no effort if it's that important to get all the pointless amount of pointless points using a pointless points system. Pfft gamers these days. "

Achievements do not cover every aspect of a game, just look at Pac Man DX, Avatar, King Kong, any game really, those are just extreme examples. Don't make shitty excuses for the pointlessness of cheevos
" @LackLuster said:So wanting to complete a game to it's fullest is illegitimate? I am also going to discount your examples of a Pac Man and two movie tie ins as examples of achievements not covering all aspects of a game and I know they don't cover 100% of everything in game, but they do usually lead to highlights of things that the people creating the game would want the player to see. But who knows I guess I'm just not enough of a game purest for you or at least that's the impression I am getting." @nail1080 said:Achievements do not cover every aspect of a game, just look at Pac Man DX, Avatar, King Kong, any game really, those are just extreme examples. Im not just looking for an easy S-rank here I want some games that have fun and difficult achievements
I haven't S-ranked a single game, but ironically the game I'm closest to S-ranking is one in which the achievements depend mostly on luck. The only achievement I still need in Poker Night at the Inventory is Straight Flush, which according to Wikipedia I have a slightly better than 0.0015% chance of getting. :(
