There have been many games over the past 10years that Jeff and Friends have made me play. But the thing that always strikes me first is the Rhythm Tengoku. It was, I believe, after a TGS where Jeff first saw it... He showed the game on "On the Spot" and I fell in love with the game immediately. That and then OSU! Tatakae Ouendan. Two of my most played and best liked games in recent times. I've spent many 100s of hours on Ouendan that I even made perfect run videos on youtube which got me 1000s of views (Mostly for Rhythm Tengoku Gold though :P )

What it has gotten me into? So far it has just taken a chunk of my time.

Hmm *checks list*, actually only Shatter (yes the soundtrack is great).  Was thinking there wouldn't be anything at all for a minute there.

The guy's tastes in games don't fall in line completely with my own and they typically cover mainstream stuff rather than showing me some game out of leftfield that I've never heard of before.  There are some great QLs of games I didn't know much about before but I've enjoyed them on their own merits in that coverage rather than having gone out and bought them.

Not much, although if somebody wishes to point out otherwise, go ahead.

I was seriously looking at arcade cabinets for a while, fortunately I never found the right deal for the games I was looking for so the compulsion to get one subsided before I ended up with an arcade game in my bedroom.

I got a lifetime subscription to Star Trek Oniline due to the beta coverage.

They got me to ignore APB, Global Agenda and DCUO like any sane person should.

I guess the whole Steam client. Hearing them talk about all those CRAZY steam sales made me curious. I bought like 10-15 games after that and I just recently bought a specced out computer to play all those games on!

Got into Deadly Premonition right before the ER so can't count that but I know that GiantBomb crew infectious level of enthusiasm has had me going into some games more or back to some games. The only ones that pop to mind at the moment are Comic Jumper, Dead Rising2 Case Zero, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1&2, AC2 Brotherhood, Star Trek Online.

Thanks to the QL on the site, I've also found a good 2 dozen of Wii titles to go after once I get a Nintendo Wii so I'll count all those titles too. Just so glad for things like the quick looks as they so often have a good candid look at the game over something more manufactured by the studio which might gloss over some sluggish elements of the game.
