Meant to add it but chrome freaked out and refreshed, thus entering my poll before finishing, and I can't figure out how to delete this one and make a proper poll.

obviously is the most common, but Winamp is fantastic now, it's a good alternative for non iPod users.

Winamp is beautiful, probably a driving force to why I use it for leisure so much.

This poll requires Foobar2000 as an option.  It does everything I want (which is to just play my goddamn music) and never uses more than like 5mb of memory.

I used Winamp but ever since I re-built my computer, it's really slow when it's loading songs, so I just use iTunes.

I use the Information Tunes.

But I only use it because of Podcasts and because of my ipod. Also it contains all my play data for songs and I am a nut for meta data.

My entire listening experience is controlled by a single smart playlist.

This looks like a UI nightmare, not beauty. "
He was being sarcastic.... I Hope - Winamp it is an eyesore, but so is Mediamonkey. And Spiderplayer still looks like it is straight out of the late 90's.

I use Winamp and Spotify.

Winamp can be much cleaner, if you don't want any library or other options up. I've just got the basic player, with a playlist option.

I'm using Foobar as music player. It plays all the special formats (for example from game music), without any problems so far. And I have made the interface to my liking, you can change the whole layout and look.

EDIT: though, at work I use Audacious in Ubuntu. :) Which has the simple old style winamp look.

@RiotBananas: If you look it from a mile away it's pretty messy, but i find it really easy to work it. Love the "smartviews", you can build your own queries for music selection. Of course, the player can be very small.

It makes me sad that so many people would use the UI clusterfuck of WinAmp as opposed to the beauty of Zune.

I like it because it has windows right click integration.  So I can just open up my music folder which is all organized, right click on what i want to listen to and either add it to queue or play in winamp.  I'm too lazy to organize a programs media library with proper id3 tagging and all that when my folders are nicely organized.

Try heading to last.fm - not only does it do this but you can see how the rest of the community has simliar tastes and you can find new music that way!

Zune user myself, but I do miss the ability to customize and how easy/fast I could make playlists in Winamp.  Everyone needs to give the Zune player a try, works great.  Also, Zune Pass FTW!

Yeah, polls like this always leave out the obvious ones like Foobar and VLC. If VLC had a better interface or I could find a skin that really integrates well with each OS I use, it would totally be my one stop shop.
