What's your favourite scary game?

i never really play horror games but im trying out the genre now. dead space has been the scariest so far. just the atmorsphere sounds are just so perfectly made and so haunting (anyone who says dead space isnt scary is lying..) 
 
after i get back to that and start playing i think im going to try out siren blood curse and maybe a silent hill...

Man I've never really played horror games... it's weird, I'm barely scared by any movie yet for some reason I can't play a horror game for more than 15 minutes before wanting to stop.

Silent Hill 2 easily. I'm trying to find Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams because it's BC on the 360.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. 
Not to go on a rant here, but...I'm about to start ranting: I was really pissed that so few people seemed to find the true horror in this game, everyone just focussed on the one scene where it shocks you with finding the protagonist dead in the bath tub (and you're playing as her at the time, it's not a spoiler it's a hallucination), but the horrors were more Lovecraftian, more psychological. At one point (spoiler) you learn that the antagonists masterminded World War I because their guardian needed more corpses to eat than they could reasonably come across...so they started one of the largest wars in human history. I found that absolutely terrifying. /spoiler
