when is the ps3 getting a price cut? going the way it is going now, it looks like it will happen after e3. i'm keeping my hopes high!
WHEN IS IT GOING TO HAPPEN!!
The Wii might get a price cut by the end of the year, with sales dipping in Japan.
"wii needs a price cut, but nintendo isnt stupid, there selling tons at its current cost, why the hell would they make it cheaper?"Why should I pay that price though for a system that just spews out arcade games and rarely an actual game with substance? Because the Wiimote is apparently revolutionary? I don't think so.
"deerpoob said:But he does have a point, they don't need to lower the price, there are still tons of people buying it, they could raise the price and it would still sell like hot cakes."wii needs a price cut, but nintendo isnt stupid, there selling tons at its current cost, why the hell would they make it cheaper?"Why should I pay that price though for a system that just spews out arcade games and rarely an actual game with substance? If, if there is going to be a price cut, I would say after E3. Announced at E3 and then after that. But I am skeptical regarding this price cut that people keep rumoring. Sony still needs to make money on the actual console and by cutting their price they are going to have a much higher time doing that. Perhaps they could afford to drop it by 50 but to have any price cut actually be an effective price cut, its got to drop at least 100.
You don't want to wait for a price reduction...you want to pay full price for a Playstation 3...you don't need backwards compatibility..."next gen" begins when Sony says it begins...Obey...Conform...Consume....
"I was hoping by April, but oh well. No PS3 for me this year. Sorry Sony. My budget's set."
Sorry Sony? I believe you owe this man an apology:
Now say you're sorry.
Considering I paid $400 for a Wii and $400 for a 360, then as much as I would like a PS3 added to my collection, that isn't going to happen until it drops to $400, my entry point. Considering that it currently costs $700, that isn't going to happen this year and probably next.
