I think Jack Ryans suit would probably be better equiped for space then Isaac Clarke's space suite would be for water. But in the end I don't know for sure.
To tell you the truth, I think they'd both survive each others games. Well, maybe. I think Isaac would be much more suitable to get through what Jack does. After all, I don't know how easy it'd be for Jack to take down Hive Mind. Awww, that'd be awesome. I wish I could play a game like that. Where they switch games.
@agentboolen: Well, what about when Isaac needs to go into space? Oh crap, Jack would be dead hm? Unless he had the big daddy suit? And I think Isaac's suit would work well underwater.
Jack could never survive what Isaac went through. As soon as he runs into a part involving Zero-G, vacuum or stasis, he's screwed, and even if he had the means to get past those segments, none of his weapons or powers are suitable for dismemberment. The Necromorphs would tear him apart.
Isaac, on the other hand, could easily survive Bioshock. Seeing as he's got plasma weaponry, he'd be able to kill pretty much anything Rapture throws at him with one or two shots.
