Accents that you hate.

Do you have any accents that really fucking annoy you? For me, it would have to be the cowboy//'old south' accent, specifically the one that is 'y'all' inclusive. Fuck your y'alls.

I think any accent can sound great with the right voice. Equally, any accent can sound jarring with the wrong voice. *shrugs*

Southern accents. Either stop talking like a hillbilly or abstain from speaking in general.

I'm not the kind of person to judge somebody by the way they speak... but if I'm going to be honest I can't handle Jersey boys.  Funny thing that sounds regional but it really goes hand in hand with your typical club hopping, chest shaving, spiked hair douch bag.  I'm just going to have to poison the United States' jager reserves.

Mexican accents. On the other hand, I LOVE Indian accents.

Jersey/New York/Boston. I can easily tolerate Southern ones probably because I live there. I don't have one though as I live in the city.

 I used to hate the really harsh Newfoundlander accent when I first moved here because I couldn't understand a damn word people would say to me. After a good nine years here, I've been assimilated and I can now speak fluent Newfinese. Yep.

• Southern accents. I want to punch Paula Dean in the face every time she says to add three fucking sticks of butter to her brownies.
• Mexican. I hate the language, and I hate the accents.
• Indian accents. So difficult to tolerate.

Hating someone because of their accent is like hating a kid with Down Syndrome, it's just fucking stupid.

Indian accents are actually just popularized that way because they sound funny. Indians actually do not have such a weird kind of accent where each word comes out clearly and sharply.   That's just the south-Indian (Kerala, a south indian state) accent.
That state only covers about around maybe less than 10 % of India.
Problem is, maximum Indians moving to the US are Keralites, hence Indians are generalized as the dark, accented people, that are actually only Keralites!
Actually, most of the Indians do not have any accent and are not that dark either..
