Any writers here?

So does GB have any writers?
I am a writer and I wonder how may kindered spirits there are on GB.

my love for writing was limited to getting A's in my college liberal arts classes. I did enjoy it, but I never took the time to write just for fun.

I'm a half-ass writer, as in used to be an editor at another gaming  site. If you're referring to actual talent, or able to make a living off it, then no. I'm a hack ;-)

I consider myself to be a writer, although not in the commercial sense. I write lyrics for my band, and I'm currently working on a novel.

So quite a few writers then. Interesting...

I dont write as in.. Make large reviews and articles about stuff i'm interested in, but i do like to watch my ass when it comes to spelling and grammar when i do write about stuff.

I guess I can write good reviews, but can't ever get around to doing them.

I actually do write fiction.  I'm a member of the Undergraduate Writer's Workshop here at the University of Iowa, one of the nation's premier creative writing schools. 

Mostly, I have short stories packed into notebooks and folders, and only one of those short stories has been published by a small outlet, but I've put serious thought into writing a novel.  It's harder than it sounds, though.

I want to be a film director when i'm older, i'm currently trying to get started on a script, it's really hard, especially after reading a book like Stephen King's IT hanging over you saying "HAHA I'm so awesome".

Well you already know I'm just a wannabe screenwriter.
