vaguely, Im a little overweight and I wear glasses, thats about where the stereotype ends. oh and Im very messy, Im not pale though and I go out and play sports pretty much every day with friends.

Not at all. In high school I was, but from college on, I lost a lot of weight and went to the gym every day. I am still a huge nerd at heart, but look completely opposite and have a 8.5/10 gf (who I ditched for EVO last week, lol) to boot.
Gaming is not a lifestyle. I resent anyone that seeks to make this hobby a fashion "statement". I will actively persue the ruination of the insurgency against taste. You may own gaming T shirts for games you have played and hold a special place in your life for non-vanity purposes, else I will end you. You shall not refer to yourself as a gamer with any other tags attached not relating to gaming. For instance, you may be a "strategy gamer", an "MMO gamer" a "hardcore gamer" if you like to 100% games you play, but you shall never, and I mean NEVER, ever refer to yourself (if female) as a "girl gamer", "gurl gamurr" or any other batardisation or obnoxious term assaulting the industry. It is irrelevant that you are female. You are either equal to gamers or less than pond life for trying to garner attention because you think being a female who plays games is rare and fettishable. Seriously, die before you refer to yourself as this because the living fate is far worse, you will have no dignity. They say that scene kids are poser emos who are poser goths who are poser vampires who are poser devils who are all posers to Satan. Well before I fumble up this analogy, the afformentioned people are posers and somewhere down the line is a big sea of shit that they swim in, drinking shit water and eating shit plankton, flapping about in a massive pile of shit where they are the centre of themselves in a cold, lonely desperate universe. I forgot where this was going, but it just goes to show that if you feel you can use gaming to advance yourself in any way you are sorely mistaken.
I have a length of hair, I wash every day, I wear non-gaming branded clothes, I tend to have some stubble or be clean shaven, I'm a tad under weight weighing just under 9 stone.
While I'm sure they were meant to be humorous, those seven discriptures are far too vitriolic for me. Someone has issues, but from some of these posts they've hit a nerve nonetheless. Never looked at gaming as a self-defining thing anyway, so no.....
