heath ledger hands down. there is no hype. i just saw it today.
dude, his Joker can be ranked right alongside guys like Hannibal Lecter, Alex DeLarge and Anton Chigurh and any other legendary baddies, let alone the other Jokers (which obviously PWNS).
He absolutely NAILS it man. He is so convincing as this menacing sociopathic madman who kills for thrills, i'm talking about every little nuance. the constant creepy twittering in his voice, the way he is always being so figity licking his lips and shit, and he laugh at everything. and a lot of credit can go to Chris Nolan for such amazing direction in filming the Joker, in some scenes like when he escapes from jail, and all that crazy stuff happens and your just like omg what the hell, and then they just play this dark deep tone and show the joker with no sound (just that deep tone) hanging out a police car like he's in gone with the fuckin wind or some shit. its so chilling and disturbing and amazing all at once.
thats gotta be one of the most memorable things i've ever seen in a movie.
ugh. im a huge movie buff- i watch everything, except for crap like "(add genre here) Movie" movies and such so I was super critical going into this movie with all of the hype surrounding his performance. but truthfully, it aint hype, its total buzz, and he deserves it. RIP dude. i really didnt care about his death until now, because after i saw that i was like omg i wonder what would have come from this guy in the future had he lived! O_O he wouldve became the next marlon brando
