@EvilKatarn: sry I think I skipped your post, I'll put you in as 44 - Before I made my initial post I thought about outruling metal/hardcore stuff or splitting the songs up into two playlists but in the end I came to the conclusion that it wouldn't be right to split up our community, I want the raw experience.

The Mountain Goats - No Children from the album Tallahassee. Really recommend the whole album. It's dedicated to a terrible self destructing but also co-dependent marriage. Starting from a move to Tellahassee and ending in hopes of a fire that would just end it all. It's has a great unique sound and the theme is very well realized. You'll never be that delighted by a terrible situation.
Also just as a bonus. There is an another great concept album I found recently - Deltron 3030. It's a cyberpunk rap album by Del tha Funkee Homosapien (gorrilaz and solo fame) and Dan "the Automator" Nakamura (Kool Keith and a whole lot of other stuff). It's a brilliant tribute to everything cyberpunk ranging from Ghost in the Shell to Blade Runner to Neuromancer. Also the sequel is coming out soon, 10 years in the making!
I was going to go with a Hip song as I've been a fan of theirs for 20 years (the clue is in the name) but I went with a less well known track to add some variety to the playlist. Nice to see The Hip got represented anyway.

Was a big fan of Is This It, and pretty into Room on Fire, lost interest after that tbh, they're later stuff didn't really appeal to me. But man, they've pulled me right back in. Such an incredible song.
