ALL HAIL SATAN!
Wait, what?
Edit: I do know that he's weak to wind.
Sort of? I mean, I killed the guy quite some time ago in heated battle, so it'd be hard to deny his existence on any level.

I don't mean to insult your theology but I don't quite understand it. If Satan does not exist then how can Jesus be savior if he isn't saving you from anything?

There are major Christian groups that don't believe in Satan. Hell, in 2009, a study found that 60% of American Christians did not believe in Satan or the Holy Spirit/Ghost.
And no, I don't believe in Satan. It's just a bogeyman story.

I love metal heads. They're some of the weirdest and most deranged people I've ever met, and yet oddly the nicest, too.
There are a variety of faiths ( Yazidism, Baha'i, etc.) that believe in a figure akin to Satan, but do not describe him as one who will "torture the wrongdoers in Hell for all eternity," portraying him instead as a a metaphor for man's immorality, or even as God's most favored angel. Even among the mainstream Abrahamic religions the theological role of Satan is up for debate ( compare the role of Satan in Judaism with the Shaitan of Islam, or the Christian tendency to conflate Lucifer with the Devil).

I don't think that's true, necessarily. People can believe in the divinity of Jesus without believing everything that's been said about Satan specifically. Biblical texts are often vague about the tempter and who he is, and there are plenty of Christians who take most/all of the Old Testament to be myth (I know Satan, as most know him, also appears in the New Testament, I'm just saying...)

i don't get it. without satan what's the point of jesus? if there's no satan, there's no sin, and if there's no sin, what did jesus die for? also what makes satan "made up nonsense" but jesus true? they're both equally hard to believe to me. to me it just sounds like you like believing in jesus because it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
