There's two bald eagles that live in a tree that I can see out my window. They're both there right now, they look amazing in the sunlight! Seeing them I thought about some people I know who'd really like to see an eagle let alone have them living right outside their home. So what about you guys, is anyone here fortunate enough to live near wildlife, or are you stuck inside a city with the pigeons?
Do you see much wildlife where you live?

It depends how you would define 'wildlife'. I live on a farm, so I'm around animals every day but I rarely see any in the wild. A couple of foxes, a badger or two and obviously a lot of birds, but nothing major. I'm probably in the wrong part of the world for the really impressive animals.
Living near wildlife isn't exactly fortunate, they make noises during the night and attack your house during the day. But to answer the question, I live in the type of area were the only wildlife you see is a seagull.
I get a ton of foxes, Hedgehogs and squirrels in my garden...and loads of types of bird....occasionally frogs when it's rainy

ah yeah we have bears around here, one time a bear stood up with it's paws on my parents car, and took a bite out of this ball on the car antenna haha. I think I've been up close to the main animals here. Been a couple meters from an eagle that landed right infront of me while I was trying to cross a pond over a fallen tree. Been a few meters away from a cougar. Then of course I've seen a bear up close, but only a black bear.
I live in a pretty heavily forested area of British Columbia so I see a good amount of wildlife. Mostly bears, birds, sqiurells, and skunks
Nice that's where I live." I live in a pretty heavily forested area of British Columbia so I see a good amount of wildlife. Mostly bears, birds, sqiurells, and skunks "

" Theres alot of chavs around where i live..there kinda...wild, aswell as with hygiene to match any animal. "This. Though most of them are up a tree drinking battery acid or anti freeze or something so they leave us alone. (Though four of 'em got arrested last week for breaking and entering but that's another story.)
As for other wildlife, I see the occasional fox, hedgehog, horses, ducks, swans, geese and robins. It's not country I live in but it's not quite suburbs either.
I once shot a Unicorn that was in my back yard. I buried it and a beautiful tree sprang up there that grows watermelons. But that doesn't count, really, because everyone can see the unicorns RIGHT?
On another note, there were like 8 deer in my neighbors yard a week ago. I tackled one and taught it to speak Spanish.
I usually see a variety of wildlife on my way to work. Most of the time I see deer and Canadian Geese.
On a side note, that is a beautiful dog in the pictures.
In the summer time we get the usual bears looting the garbage cans. there is deer that come around now and then as well, and depending where you go around town, there is stuff to see here and there, plenty of eagles around, and ravens, down at the boat harbors or the beach is seals and sealions, whales sometimes, and in the early fall sometimes you can spot killer whales cruising by, not sure where they go, migration of some sort i guess.... lots of other less interesting things to see in regular intervals tho
"I see birds taking a shit. "
Listen guys I think this might seriously be Haley Joel Osmet's account.
