So I just thought of something that totally freaked me out. I've never left the USA. I've never even been to Canada or Mexico. Then I told my dad and he said he's never been out of the country either. And he's like fifty years old!
So have you ever been to another country? Which one? and was it cool?
Have you ever left your country?
Well America is a big place so I wouldn't be too surprised. It's the same thing with Chinese people, they get a little freaked out when they see a white person strolling around Beijing. And a lot of Fremch people go on holiday...in some other part of France.
Myself, I've been to the U.K, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Austria, China, Hong Kong (it's seperate from China), Amsterdam and the USA, New York specifically. I could go into detail but I did enjoy the cultural side to it all.
Yes I've been to Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, USA, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, France and Cuba. Fun times in pretty much all of them except Mexico.
O.K.This is gonna be somewhat long :
- Croatia (great coast)
- Serbia (Belgrade is cool)
- Slovenia (ehh, skiing mostly)
- Macedonia (Been to Skopje for few days, was nice)
- Greece (Awesome)
- Turkey (Istanbul is the craziest city I've ever seen)
- Montenegro (Same as Croatia, great coast)
- Austria (just as you imagine it,a mountain country with a great sense of charm)
- Germany (Cool people)
- France (Paris is great, and the rest of France (save for The Cote d' Azur, because I wasn't down there (yet!) so I can't really tell) is really nice looking,if anything)
- Hungary (Best.Traffic.Signs.Ever)
The best part is,we are having our Excursion in a week, and we are going to Spain!Plus,a day and night in Venice! Sweet!
I'm originally from Germany, and I now live in the U.S. of A., so yes.
Also: Canada, England, Scotland, Belgium, France, Holland, Sweden, Denmark, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece.
" I haven't been to a whole bunch of places, I really need to visit the U.S. and the Canadia at some point hopefully soon, and I definitely want to just go and explore the world at some point. I have been to Lanzarote, Menorca, Aachen and Turkey, though. "Nice.Which reminds me,if I pass the first college exam on my first go in July,I might even go to the US for a week at my uncles place in Akron.
" @Fallen189 said:I noticed that too. and Norway is the best country, hands down. also you might want to check out Iceland. Especially now when their economy is fucked. You avoiding Norway or something? Sweden, Denmark, Finland... You are missing the last piece of the scandanavian set! "" Holland Sweden Finland Denmark France They're all okay. Danes are God tier. "
" @AgentJ said:Norway is pretty great. Give it a chance, and i can be pretty sure you won't regret it" @Fallen189 said:After Denmark, there is nowhere else to go. "You avoiding Norway or something? Sweden, Denmark, Finland... You are missing the last piece of the scandanavian set! "" Holland Sweden Finland Denmark France They're all okay. Danes are God tier. "

I'm from Canada but for the past couple years I have been living in Germany. I've also been to the U.S.A./Netherlands/France/England When studying is done I hope to go around Europe some more.
I live in New Brunswick Canada. I went down to Connecticut to live with my sick aunt for 3-4 months and it was scary. There was someone getting shoot at least once a week. Drug dealers on every other corner, places getting broken into. People breaking out into fights out side her house all the time. It was every horror story and stereotype about Americans I ever heard every day I was there. If that is any indication of what the rest of the country is like I don't know how people live in that country, I really don't.
I have been three times around the world with my parents before i was eight years old,
Born in Aussie
Traveled to Holland
Now live in New Zealand
I am not going to list all the places I have been as it will take to long but apart from antarctica and the arctic, I have landed on every landmass.
I've been across the country (Alabama to California) but even that, I still haven't been out of the country. I would really like to visit Japan. And be freaked out...
lets see...
Canada (Twice)
USA (dont know how many times)
Puerto Rico (once or twice)
Antigua (lost count)
Martinique (lost count)
St Lucia (Lost Count)
St Vincent (once or twice)
Grenada (once)

Yes. i live in the US and have gone to canada 3 times. once when i was young (and i dont remember that trip. once to go to niagra falls and then last summer to go to victoria canada.
going to niagra was sorta cool and victoria wasnt anything that special...
A couple of years ago two friends, my girlfriend and I left here (Australia) to check out the action in England, Spain and France.
Spain was gorgeous - I could run away from my life and start fresh there in a heartbeat. France was beautiful, too, although the weather wasn't as good as we drove through it on our trip from Barcelona to Paris. Still, I loved France and Paris itself was great. Everybody was very helpful and polite, and everywhere we went was immaculately clean.
England was okay, although it was a bit disappointing for me. I'd wanted to go there since I was a young boy, so I guess it could never live up to what I'd constructed in my mind. There just seemed to be an undercurrent of people being a bit miserable there. But on the whole, we had a great time there too.
Earlier this year, the same four of us flew to the US of Awesome and had a freakin' ball. Seriously great shit you guys have got going on up there. We had a wedding in Hawaii to go to, and of course that was the only day in 3 weeks that it rained. LA was a hoot, Vegas was a lark (although I never shot a gun in the end), Yosemite National Park was breathtaking. Despite the first day being foggy, San Francisco had brilliant weather and was possibly my favourite place in all of the trip. We stayed with friends who live there, which is always a plus for a trip. We did so much, and had an amazing time. Def wanna get back to the US afore I shuffle off!
been to Canada 3 or 4 times and went to england that one time....pretty boring compared to other people in here...
