I'm not talking anything like in a game sense of awards, but rather what you have won in real life. Like getting a trophy, certificate, ribbon, plank, or something that shows that you achieved something is what I'm talking about. Stuff like this:
Awards, achievements, and prizes I've won/earned.
I got an award for most improved clarinet player.
I got Salutatorian and graduated with High Honors.
I got 2nd place on a science project in state competition.
I've won a bike in a contest drawing.
I won a piece of chocolate for answering a question right in school.
So, have you won any special awards, achievements, or prizes?
*I've made this thread so I can keep my mind off of my uncles death, which happened today, so I'm thinking about the positives of what has happened in my life. :)

I won a PSone, a copy of Crack the Skye by Mastadon, and got mentioned on the Bombcast.
Awesome.
Also, dude, sorry to hear about your uncle. Mine passed away earlier this summer, was halfway around the world at the time.
Among positive things, Shadow Complex is coming out next week. Whoo!
Sorry about your uncle man.
One of my more notable awards is for when I played baseball. Our team got 1st place. And as promised, we got our pizza party since we won. Awesome.
I got 2nd in the nationals for a composing contest (in canada).
My team won a couple hockey tournaments.
I got honors three years in a row in junior high.
...and that's it. Kinda sad, now that I think about it.
Oh and sorry about your uncle dude.
May he rest in peace.
I've entered many a competition and the only things I've ever seem to have won is... NOTHING?!
I did however receive a limited edition poster for BioShock direct from the 2K Games HQ!
ehh,no awards for a destroyer :(.
Sorry to hear about your uncle, losing a loved one blows. I know from personal experiance.
I won two tickets to Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in IMAX from 1 vs 100. That's about all I can remember recently.
Oh, yeah, I won 100 bucks towards grant money for college from a young writer's contest. Third place.
I got a science scholarship in High School.
I once won Warcraft II and a free lunch at Chicken Treat on a Chocolate Wheel.
I got an employee of the year type award last year with $500 gift certificate.
Won my Wii.
Bunch of miscellaneous sports awards/trophies as a kid but nothing significant.
I won our schools math test and became 3rd in the country (though only a bunch of schools entered). As for just winning stuff, I once won a complete PC (pretty good system, wasn't brand new, though some parts were, was done by just a regular guy) and then later on I won a kick ass videocard at the time from the same guy (6800GT when the 7 series got on the market like 2 weeks before). Best part was that this man did this with stuff he got (from reviewing and his own stuff) and he send it all the way from the US to me.
Anyway I'm sorry for your loss.

A couple of soccer MVPs, but that's about it. Oh, and I scored the championship-winning goal in my U-10 league. Pretty badass if I say so myself. :)
And sorry about your uncle, man.
Best in the school in a maths quiz open to year 8 and above (i was year 8, it was open to people 4 years older than me. And im youngest in the year so, everyone was older than me). Unfortunatly i tripped on stage getting my award.. so swings and roundabouts i guess..
A few sports trophies in the past few years (Still a kid, so its the norm really)
Won a PSone and a playstation one. Not that it counts but i also won a lot of Ebay ^^
I won best of show in my senior year high school spring art show.
I graduate college with High honors.
Only thing I have ever won was a medal for finishing 4th out of 100+ varsity bowlers in a high school bowling tournament last year.
Sorry about your uncle man, the passing of time and being around other people (especially friends and family) help heal the pain from the loss of a loved one. Obvious but true.
Well Apparently this year (my last year of school) I got the music prize, I haven't picked it up yet though... I think I get some certificate.
I also got two awards for French last year, most improved and best performance (or something like that).
Appart from that I think I haven't won any other significant awards... or i can't think of any others at the moment, but yeah those are my most recent ones. :)

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan once gave me the plank.
when I was like 10, i went to this school fair thing with my family and they had a SNES there for raffle. I pleaded and begged like no tomorrow for some raffle tickets but my mom wouldnt let me. Good thing I had my uncle with me that day. He took out a $5 bill and two minutes later he handed me a fistful of tickets and said 'good luck'. I won that SNES and loved my uncle for it ever since.
I've never won anything of value. :P
My parents have some trophies and ribbons that I earned for school and for sports ( yeah, I used to play sports. ). I don't remember why I got them. I do remember that one was for the music in an animation that won best of show at an animation festival.
I've entered a lot of remix competitions and I've never won. I did get a salsa music sample CD as an honorable mention in one though.
If I've won anything else, I don't remember, so clearly very important stuff. :)
i won a $50 gift certificate to gamestop from a website that i won.
i won second place in the pinewood derby in cub-scouts. i then went to the states but didn't win. something funny was that an asian dude won. i just thought he would have the fastest car here. u know a stereo type is asains are smart.
