How long have you gone without sleep.

About 30 hours. I didnt even think I was tired untill I suddenly woke up 8 hours later on the couch.

Once 25 hours and that is all, i love sleep too much to stay up past 11.

About a week without proper deep sleep...It was drug induced.

Three days with chemical assistance, 36-40 hours without. It's not that unusual for me to go 24 hours without sleep.

i have trouble with insomnia, so sometimes i will stay up all night playing games or something and then not be able to sleep the next night even though im tired.

i've never been awake before

49 hours is my longest.

3 and a bit days, and yes by the end I was seeing mad crap. When I used to do student newspaper, we pulled some stupid hours during production. I'd do that, then go to work. I was in at work one time and I started hallucinating that my boss was poking his face through the curtain, making funny noises and poking his tongue out. Looked at him sitting at his desk, and he was nowhere near doing something that goofy. That's when I knew I was in trouble. Well, that and during the tram ride home, I realised the person sitting next to me moved because I was mumbling weird shit to myself about blue cabbages. True story.

There have been other sleep dep events, but they're usually just the whole 'shadow people in your peripheral vision' thing, or everything looking 2D.

Sleep? PLZ too many games to play for that

I sleep all day, I'm sleep typing right now in fact.

Man, I feel like a real lightweight compared to some of you guys. I once went 44 hours with only 5 minutes sleep though.

The longest I recall staying up was three days. Ocarina of Time had just come out....

Yea, close to about 3 days.  You get some weird thing going on in your head when you're that sleep deprived like when you're driving and you suddenly realize you're at a stop sign as if you just popped up from nowhere.  Your brain seems to be shutting off almost, kind of crazy.

I'm a wuss and the latest I have stayed up was like until 7am...

How the hell do you people stay awake?! I want to at least be able stay up for 24 hours.

A little over a day was my longest

26 hours to be exact. I am a lightweight. Thank God for Animal Crossing's NES games. They're oh so addicting.

45 hours was the most I've gone so far that I can remember but the summer is coming up so I'm sure I'll pass that.

Staying up for a long time (More than 3 days I think) isn't cool... Hallucinations start and you have the worst acid trip ever. Not cool bro.

until the hallucinations kick in.

The longest period I went without sleep was around 48 hours. I had to finish a 20 page research paper on top of a ton of other stuff. Most of that time was spent staring at a computer screen, typing and drinking more coffee than is healthy to consume. The worst part was about 3/4 of the way through, I actually had to drive home from the University library to my house. I literally felt hypervigilant and don't really remember much. Needless to say, I crashed some hours later and will never go that long without sleep. 

Three days, and it wasn't the good kind of hallucinations, either.

The hallucinations I got were that everyone started looking like in the Black Hole Sun music video and at some point everything started getting kinda liquidly like in the Dali painting. 

My cap was about 36 hours, but a friend of mine more or less doesn't sleep the whole week (five days) and sleeps through the entire weekend almost every week. He lives off Rockstar. He says you get used to the hours after a while, it just becomes a different sleep schedule. He also says you can get a lot done when everyone else is asleep.

2 days.

Like 18 hours...no reason to stay up longer for me.

I did 33 hours before...although when I did this i was 7. Im 13 now, and cant w8 to try again.

Main reason I stayed up was because I had a sleepover, so naturally, we didnt sleep-instead we played The Warriors on the Xbox all night. Then my nephew (I was still 7) came over and we stayed up all night to watch Codename: Kids Next Door Marathon throughout the night. My dad came and made me sleep though. :(

Ah, Codename KND. The good old days.

About 3 days.  I could go on for longer if there are other people staying up and that we have games to play.

5 days I felt like shit.
