Two really weak endings there tonight. The EC match ended abruptly with a crappy roll up, and why was there even the extra stipulation in the main event if NOTHING WAS MADE OF IT.

I knew they wouldn't go anywhere with it. Way to be predictable WWE.
Yeah... we have Twice in a Lifetime to put up with...
but I, for one, am a bit excited with this ridiculous looking Jack Swagger vs. Alberto Del Rio feud we have coming up. Think about if Swagger kidnaps Ricardo and crazy Zeb ships him back to Mexico... the possibilities are endless. Plus, Ziggler can pop out of nowhere at WM and take the belt.
Who's going to go up against The Shield?
Taker/Punk is a possibility.
It's not all going to be bad.
@turboman: Punk vs. Taker is really not something I have any interest in seeing. Triple H vs. Lesnar seems like an almost sure thing, to which I say NOPE.
Obviously, there's a lot of spots to fill on the card and who knows what's going to happen. Swagger and Del Rio should be a fun feud leading up to the event at the very least. But the three "main events" so far could not be more vomit inducing in my mind.

Really? HHH vs Lesnar is worse than Twice in a Lifetime?
@demoskinos: Oh, no. I didn't say it was worse. But it's still not something that I want to see at all.
Nothing about Bork/Triple H, Once In a Lifetime 2, or Punk/Taker sounds very exciting. I sure hope they have something up their sleeve or else WM is going to be uninteresting.

I think Punk/Taker could be a good match but I just have zero clue what they would do for build up. They have no story hooks for the match. I think it has to be a triple threat. Been a while since we've seen a wrestlemania triple threat main event.

Punk: I pinned the Rock! I got screwed! I'm the best in the world!
*lights go out*
Taker: If you're the best do what's never been done and beat me at WrestleMania. REST IN PEACE
*repeat for six weeks*

Pretty much.
You can have Undertaker question Punk's respect and make the argument that the only way everyone will respect him is to beat Taker at Mania.

I may very well have screwed up somewhere, so, if I did, let me know.
First off, I'M THE LOC CHAMPION!
On to more serious/depressing things, the top matches for Wrestlemania look absolutely brutal:
- Rock vs Cena II: This time Cena gets his win back. Ugh, the first match was not good and Cena getting his win back to get his win back is badumb.
- Triple H vs Lesnar II: This time Hunter gets his win back. Ugh, the first match was not that good and Hunter getting his win back to get his win back is badumb.
- CM Punk vs Undertaker: These two have never been good together and, with Taker's supposed heath, this is going to be a clunker of massive proportions.
While the undercard (Kane/Bryan in, hopefully, a Casket or Buried Alive Match, Del Rio/Swagger and Ziggler/Jericho) could be good, it won't be given enough time to really be all that special.
Incontrovertible proof that Milkman = Vince MacMahon
VINCE MILKMAN! The answer was under our noses the whole time!
I sure hope Rocky actually attempts to get in ring shape, as the litany of rest holds last night were pretty weak and railroaded the momentum of the match. It never really got going, and overall was quite a disappointment.

@joshthebear: that's actually a really well made logo.
So WrestleMania XXX is officially in New Orleans
This looks like Wrestlemania: Saint's Row Edition.

Hold on, a purple fleur de lis. Whatcha gonna do when Angel de la Muerte runs wild on you?
Man, I hope this Swagger vs Alberto Del Rio feud isn't terrible.
Here's a better view of the logo:
@iburningstar: Oh man, WrestleMania XXX presented by The Next Great Sequel In The Saint's Row Franchise
Okay, so here is my problem with the Rock/Punk build this past two months (kayfabe kinda).
Vince McMahon obviously wanted to make screw Punk because of his recent outings in PPV where there were interferences that caused Punk to win the belt. Clearly Vince doesn't like Punk and has shown no reasons to dislike The Rock. Yet he allows Paul Heyman a man who he was a about to fire before he got destroyed by Lesnar who is most likely working with Heyman to add a stipulation TO FAVOR PAUL HEYMAN AND CM PUNK!
While it is glaringly obvious I feel like people haven't mentioned it very much. Also this makes Rock look like a pussy (non kayfabe) to have his ending feud match against Punk have a shitty stipulation. I mean anything would have been better than that one.
I wish there was just one match between these two because the first match seemed like they were saving all the good stuff for their second match and the second match was more of the same just with more kick-outs of finishers. While the promos by Punk were spectacular in most cases and Rock was.... well not for me, I enjoyed the segments they did but the matches really didn't live up to the potential.
The chamber match was good and I wasn't really blown away by him winning because it seemed like he was one of three people that could have won it. Still, that was a great chamber match. The Shield match was definitely my favorite match on the card. The show as a whole was a good PPV but definitely disappointing because EC is always my favorite WWE PPV of the year. I hope next year we go back to the format of two chamber matches and both being for the world championships.
I'm going to post a little more about the future of the Wizard Title and what is going to be going down at Mania, but for now NEW CHAMP.
