I'm not very knowledgeable about college football. I just like to watch a bunch of people tackle each other. Don't actually know that much about the actual teams. Usually I pick the team that's closest to me geographically, and if I have no idea where the two opposing colleges are located I just pick the team with the best looking uniforms. Oh and:

I tried to make an honest effort to get into college football last year and it worked.  I have been a huge Seahawks fan for the last 8 years but never gave the college game much thought.  I've always been a UW fan and last year didn't help that to much.

They will probably get stomped against LSU but should rebound against Idaho.  I like the direction they are going in and Willingham was all sorts of horrible anyway.   Sense you mentioned Washington State I try and be a fan of both.  I didn't go to either school, I understand it's a rivalry, but they are both in the state that I live so fuck it, I'll cheer for both.  When it's apple cup time though I sport the Purple and Gold.

I'm also into Alabama because of Shaun Alexander and my friend's dad went to school there when Bear Bryant was coaching which I think is awesome.

UW will beat every team in the country this year. Thats right, they will beat every NCAA team, and then they will beat every other college team in the nation, and then they will kick the ass of every high school and pee wee football team, then they'll join the european league and beat manchester united, and go to spain and beat barcelona!

Not really.

Did anyone see that guy Blount from Oregon punch that guy from Boise State? Haha, I don't think it was the right thing to do but it was pretty funny. He practically knocked him out with one shot.

No Cincinnati-Rutgers (September 7th) love CK? It's okay! Rutgers is going to win! Representing New Jersey, for sure. I didn't get to catch the whole ORE-BSU game, but I certainly have seen the post-game fun over and over again on SportsCenter. Well, this is how you plummet your NFL-potential stock: quickly, successfully, and pathetically.

Did everyone know that Jesus is a N.D. fan. Fact: Touch Down Jesus is at the north side of the field in a mural.. I do not know of anything other school who can claim this fact...Also iam not claiming anything about being a catholic. Its just that N.D. foot ball rules...  Not every player on the field is not catholic and the school rules do not require this..... Fact is N.D. rules.... I love my team...

I agree with Lou Holtz, ND vs. UF for the National Championship.  Okay, not really.  I just want a victory over USC and maybe a BCS berth.  Is that too much to ask for?

I'm more into the NFL (Go Bucs!) but I do like to watch the close matchups in College and will always root for the underdog. Man was that BYU vs. OKLA game intense, have to hand it to that BYU defense defending the endzone in thier own 5 yard line 7 times lol.

That does tend to happen when OU decides to open up their season against a team that is actually good (not like I'm trying to defend them, or justify their loss. Not a fan of the Sooners, Sam Bradford, or BYU for that matter).

31-7, I'm just going to go cry in the corner as the second half of football begins. I don't think Rutgers is coming back, but I've seen some crazy shit like this happen before. Two years ago, Louisville was down 38-24 (against Rutgers), and ended up winning in the 4th QTR: 41-38. If Rutgers scores before the half, and gets the ball back (and subsequently scores then), I might just have some hope.

Texas A&M fan here.  We beat lowly NM on Saturday 41-6. Normally, I would not be excited about this, but last year we probably would have lost (or won by a very small margin).

We might be good enough this year to go to a crappy bowl game. Normally I would not be excited about that either, but last year we were 4-8, so...

Looks like both OSU (not Ohio State) and Texas are in some trouble (OSU down 24-7 against Houston, and Texas is up 13-10 against Wyoming)! Wyoming, really? The same Wyoming team that went 4-8 last year? All is good, though, Rutgers is winning 42-7 at half against Howard! Yeah, against an NCAA Subdivision team, but I'm glad our true-freshmen QB (Tom Savage) is coming through. Notre Dame is up 20-17 against Michigan. Man, Junior QB Jimmy Clausen is looking really nice. I can see why the Patriots got a 1st RD Draft Pick for the 2011 Draft (assuming if he stays for his Senior year). I mean, think about it: Tom Brady will be 34 by the time the 2011 NFL Season kicks off, and they are going to need a future-QB to run this team. Just a thought.

Pretty sure all listed scores are at half-time.
